Sheena is a Punkrocker

Shebangs cover of the “classic” Ramones song. It’s one of my childhood favourites really, and it’s a quite awesome cover.

Today was great. I met up with Michelle (FlameCurry) and you know… It’s been so long since we last met! Like, Alice Cooper 2009?! Must be so. It was so great to FINALLY meet her again and say hello and all that shit. Had nice lunch / breakfast (no babes : ( ) at Subway and then we went chopping a bit, to speak in Lordi terms for a while.  I had an awesome time, thank you so much for meeting up! Soon again!

After this I headed up and headed to the stable. Its so warm outside nowadays, nice weather and shit so I rather walk actually. But of course I got so hooked up on MSN with Sofia that I ran late, but I managed in the last minute. For todays honor I had my new fave amongst the big horses, Falkenstein. Bad enough, it was pre-jumping class and me and jumping… Works fine when I have Axa you know.. But not anyone else, and especially not a hot big horse. But I think we were doing a bit fine.

Heading home for yet another meet up, and this time it was… Ahahaha, I have to tell you!

“Grannys Gone Crazy” just appeared on my iTunes, and you know, My blog’s been quite inactive right, so I checked what searchwords I’ve had for my blog lately. Turns out, people ACTUALLY found my blog searching “grannies getting fucked”. What on earth…? I mean, in the first place, WHO Searched for that?! And second, HOW. ON. EARTH. DOES. THAT. LEAD. TO. MY. BLOG?! I guess it has to do with Trabendo = “Me feeling fucked when granny arrived on stage during ‘ Grannys Gone Crazy'” But still.. Insane! Hilarious!

Alrite, after stable I headed out with a need walk and talk with Tezza. We live close to each other, still we never meet. I don’t get why really. Got some hot gossip from my old school and discussing music and haircolors and clothes… Lovely. Soon again.

Now… I’m exhausted really. I usually ain’t this tired at this point, but I guess combined with me getting up really early and doing so much has its price. Tomorrow… I got changed plans. Instead of a tivoli me and Hanna only will head to the animal expo. Looking forward! See if I can find something nice there, haha!

Caught In Despair

First song ever recorded with Simon Cruz on vocals for Crashdiet. I kinda love the song. I hope they play it at Dark Decadence.

Talking about Dark Decadence. It’s one week left until me and Sofia will leave our destinations for Stockholm and Crashdiet, once again. Yes – I know. We see them alot. But its kinda our favourite (swedish) band so… Don’t be hating! We’re gonna have a great time. Shopping and cinema and dinner on Friday, concert on saturday. Couldn’t be better.

We attenderd Michael Monroes gig in Västerås last week. It was… Magical. It’s something with me and Sofia, and Sigurdsgatan. It was at Sigurdsgatan during a Crashdiet gig we became best friends (figured yet why we keep Crashdiet so close to our hearts?!) and now after being at Mike Monroe… we bonded even more, closer than ever. Also, even better up, we had the time of our lives hanging out with the cool people of Västerås. Thanks to Danne and Malin for the awesome party. The concert? Yeah it was good. The best concert I’ve been to so far really.

Now I can’t wait ’til Dark Decadence begins. Can’t time move faster? Well, at least I got some entertaining. Tomorrow I’m gonna meet up with the lovely Michelle (FlameCurry for you fellow monsterboarders) then ride and then meet up with Tezza from my secondaryschool. Missed them both so much!  On Saturday there is a tivoli in town which I will go with my three BFFs from Karlstad, Jennie, Cornelia and Hanna. Kick ass.

I hope I get to work a lot next week. Kaching on the bank, AND it keeps me occupied!

Over and out.

Sofia & I

Helsinki Part 2

Posted in Concerts, Finland, Uncategorized on March 31, 2011 by Sara Hammerzmith

So well yeah, thats pretty much what we did. Sat and enjoyed ourselves and the night at On The Rocks as the place got more and more crowded. A couple of girls sat down on the back of mine and Argos couch and I thought I recognized one of the girls.. And of course! It was Jasmin, and I was so glad to see her again. I didn’t know how small / big On The Rocks was so I was kinda scared I’dn’t meet her laters, but well, yeah, it solved pretty good haha!

After a few more hours (or at least it felt like hours!) they let us or, ratherly, let us down (haha) in the club. You know… I’m not certain how well you know of me and Sofia and our almost-sitting-in-the-lap-of-Crashdiet experiences, but this took the price. There were NO FENCE at all before the stage, and Argo even put his stuff on the stage! And in between and before the acts we chilled out on stage. Fucking amazing. Jasmin came by to take a few pictures before she returned to her friends.

First out was psy’s band, Honey Hellraiser. They were one of the final reasons for me going in the first place and I was really looking forward to see them. And I can just say one thing: They did not let me down. They were just as I expected them to be you know, energetic, fun to watch and incredibly good. My favourite tune during the evening was “Hey Honey”, and so far I can even say it’s my fave song of them.

After a pretty short, but excellent set, the Honeys left the stage to let their fellow mates in Santa Cruz take over. I think it was during this I got to say hello to Ana2009 from MB, it was real nice to see some new faces from Monsterboard! Either way, you know. When I saw Santa Cruz (and made sure it was them, haha!) I was kinda certain I’d enjoy them. After being in this “business” for so long and seeing and hearing so much, you kinda learn how to recognize a band you’d like. And the moment I saw them coming in, I kinda knew what kinda of music they’d play and that I’d enjoy them.

And I did. They were awesome. I can honestly say I didn’t see this one coming from Finland… It might just be me – and also apart from SO, Honeys and Reckless Love – I always see Finland having more heavy stuff than glam and sleaze stuff. So it was a real nice surprise. More finnish music to the people! Santa Cruz left the stage after their refreshing set and by this time, the place have started to get pretty crowded.

This was kinda… surreal you know. SO. hit the stage pretty much right on the time I predicted and even if this wasn’t the first time I’d see him unmasked, it still felt surreal you know? Like this is fucking it. See, there he is! Either way, they hit it off with my favourite song, “Shout!”. I was kinda glad they played it – I usually have you know, no luck with those things. They followed it up with my second favourite “One Nite Stand” and the good old “Got To Believe”.

During “She” I took a look around the audience… SO. doesn’t have a specific audience you know? There were rockers, there were punks, there were hippies, pop-people or just “ordinary” people. And it was one girl that really caught my attention and now she is stuck in my brain everytime I hear “She”. Like she is “She”. And she also defines SO. for me by now. No, sorry, I have no idea who she is.

Their Eurovision song, “Pamela” who was also next song to be executed, was the one who raised the roof. I expected it to be “One Nite Stand” or similar, but no, it was Pamela. The entire floor was jumping and singing. I was glad to see this kind of excitement you know, for SO.

Another thing that surprised me badly was what a good showband SO. is. I mean, I know what kind of person Sampsa is, but I never expected this band to be so… extremly good you know. I always figured they’d be some winging thing from Lordi, less good than Lordi, but instead they ended up clearing the field with Lordi you know. They literally kicked Lordis ass. If you ask me. At least this gig. For me. Compared to Babez.

“Women”, “Bye Bye”, “Back On The Road”, “Wont Let You Down Again”. The songs passed by. The gig passed by too fast too, I guess I enjoyed myself and the band and the feeling in there a bit too much to even notice. The band perfection on stage, the executioning, the energy. It’s undescribable. They are a ridiculously fun band to watch, I guess Sampsa was right when he said two years ago that SO. is the freakiest band from Finland.

And what is even more undescribable? Sampsa and SO. doing my favourite Whitesnake song. Not like it’s gonna happen. Or Wait? Yeah. “Fool For You Loving” was the second last song to the set, and hearing Sampsas tender and lovely voice doing it really gave me chills and made me enjoy the song even more. I demand them to record and release the cover of it.

Last song for the evening arrived, “Everything For Money” and they invited the Honeys and Cruzers to join them on stage, however the Cruzers had left somewhere… I don’t mind though. The combo of Hellraiser and SO. is well and enough for me.

You know… This was a real intersting gig you know. This is the first gig in a real long time that I have really enjoyed every single minute off, even during the supportbands. I wanna thank all the three bands but a bit extra for SO. and Honey Hellraiser for making the evening awesome.

After the show Antha and I got and picked up some merch (I believe Argo did this before the show) and we just… hang around. Talked abit with Saara in the merch, a bit with Psy and other people around. We stuck around until they closed at 4 and aimed for Mc Donalds which was fucking crowded at this point… Well, I don’t blame them really. Sooner or later we did eventually get our food and sat down for a while before it was time for Argo to hit his cruise and me and Antha to return to the airport. We took a nap before we found our destinations and said good bye for this time.

It might be a bit early to say, but so far, this is the funniest and most memorable trip I’ve done this year, and I’m certain it will stay that way. I enjoyed every moment of it, even if it was short and spontaneous. I want to thank Argo, Antha and Jasmin for making it kickass, and also SO. & The Honeys + Saara for making it over the top. Thanks guys. I will never forget it.

Helsinki part 1

Posted in Uncategorized on March 21, 2011 by Sara Hammerzmith

This happened a month ago, and it has been with so much mixed feelings, and that the reason why this has taken so long time, and due to the mixed feelings about this, I don’t even know how this will turn out. But lets give it a go.

This was going to be pretty much the fastest trip ever made, I left my home in Karlstad at midnight for Stockholm and my plane to Helsinki left at 8. It was rather stressful – I figured I’d get off the bus at the first stop instead of going with it to my actual station, and thought “great, I can just walk through and check in here”, so I did check in and everything but apparently, Arlanda is bigger than you think and I thought it was NEVER GONNA END! It did eventually though.

I think it was around this moment I realized I should have slept on the bus instead of staying awake daydreaming. The flight to Helsinki is only 35 minutes, so there is no point in trying to sleep on there. Even though I actually did. Once at Helsinki… the adventure begins. Or it began with me chilling with a coffe and a sandwich while texting with Argo (Eesti999) about when he was going to arrive. I must say I feel skilled with knowing the bussystem in Helsinki better than the one in Stockholm. Why is that?

So, once in the city… I just walked around. Checking out Forum… when I got a text from Argo saying he is at Stockmann, so I figured I’d walk over there.

And you know, these kinds of things doesn’t happen, alright? I mean, the odds you run into your friends in your own hometown is kinda low rated, and even in the capital of Sweden. So how big are the odds you run into your friend in the streets of HELSINKI? Apparently pretty big, since I ran into the wonderful Jasmin! (from Paris trip) Had a fast chat before I continued down the street towards Stockmann where I found Argo standing next to a pretty suspicious statue… Ah never mind.

Together we kept exploring Helsinki, or well, he knew the city pretty well, so for he it was like being home but for me exploring! We found On The Rocks, the rests of the Elvis thing Amen had taken a pic off, we went to Musichunter(?) and Levykauppa… Before returning to Forum to pick up the very best Anthalerero!

I wasn’t totally aware of that she was coming, so it was a real nice surprise! We spent the rest of the time to walk around in stores and I certainly remember one were Argo found a iPad to play around a bit with. Time passed by and we went to McDonalds to grab some food before heading for On The Rocks… That was just across the streets.

I was so certain it would be on the sleazy backstreets or something similar, but no, right acorss from the busstation. Fucking awesome. We weren’t entirely sure if we were allowed in yet, since it’s only 18 year limits on the gigs (this goes for me and Argo that is) so we stood outside for a little while and Sampsa came out! A brief high before he ran away to run around. We figured we couldn’t stand outside like morons so we went in…

And no one checked us actually. The bar was open but they didn’t check us… so it was all cool! We headed for the red skinsofas and just sat down and enjoyed life. Talked a little music, Niko stopped by to get a few things off Antha and the hellraisers and Cruz arrived.

TO BE CONTINUED..

SADDLECLUB 4

Nothin’ But a Good Time

Poison. Not my fave song, yet it’s still amongst the once I like best of Poison.

Okay, so Crashdiet two days ago was just fine. I figured I’d try to put together some kind of review tomorrow or something. Now I’m planning for Helsinki instead, and today I picked up the euro to use in there. And thanks to that I found 22 euros lying around, I’ll be brining 22 euros extra! Just amazing. Also booked the last busses yesterday.

When I get home from Helsinki or right before I leave I shall also order the busses to Oslo – Me, Thomas and Martine are having yet another crazy weekend and also celebrating Valentines Day at hers. That will be just amazing. And I also bought not 1, but three new saddle club dvds! Ok, only two yet that are paid for (2 & 10) but I DOUBT someone will outbid me on the other one.

This has been quite a productive day really. First I sorted ALL my dvds out – put all the CDs in the right cover, putting in the CDs that wasn’t in a cover in their cover, also went through my One Tree Hill DVD boxes. My hope was to find the long lost Saddle Club no.4 but no luck. I guess I’ll keep looking for it.

What we also did was to repair one of my damned belt. It is the belt with the cowboy conchos which I had found a replacement to, but I haven’t arsed myself to order it yet, and I really want to start use the belt again so togheter with dad we fixed it. We began with drowning the belt in glue and then place some pins and spikes, and the place where the belt was in two pieces. After that we took loads of silvertape to tape together and to make sure not to hurt. After that we kept taping all the weak spots so it won’t break when I use it the next time.

It turned out as new, if you ask me. You can’t really tell from the outside that it is fixed, and yeah… the condition is as new!

I guess that was it for today. Tomorrow we have this killer day in school… 8 – 17. Nice. Or not. I guess I will pick up some cheese doodles, a glass of coke and the saddleclub. I just love it.

The Saddle Club

Posted in Uncategorized on January 27, 2011 by Sara Hammerzmith

Haven’t been saying alot lately, but well, simply; I changed riding group because they split our old and I ain’t too fond of that. I am gonna see Crashdiet on saturday, SO. & Honey Hellraiser next week, and leaving for Oslo the next weekend. Yeah, quite a heavy schedule.

I had an intense day too. I reborned my love for “The Saddle Club” series, and faith has it that way I only have DVD 1, 5 & 6, and VHS 3. I have watched 1, 5  & 6 so many times I know the episodes by word, so I figured I would set up my VHS player to watch tape 3, turns out though my VHS is a tape eater, so I couldn’t watch.

But I had a hunger only the Saddle Club would satisfy so we got in the car and left for the closest foodstore where I swear to god I had seen a couple of DVDs of the Saddle Club… But today? NONE. Not one single DVD! I was sad. So we went to the next food store. And I found one DVD! But it turned out to be DVD 6, and I had that one already…

I did not however give up there, but went to a third store. And after a while… I found one! But it was DVD 1…Then I kept looking, feeling that I won’t find anyone… I see a DVD that has the same print as Saddle Club… and I didn’ recognize the color…. My heart started to beat so fast and hard as I real slowley pulled it up.. dark blue, nope, none of my DVDs at home is darkblue…. Kept pulling it up… and see a fine and fresh “9” on it, and Kristy & Veronica on the cover. My heart started to race and a big grin broke up on my face. Wrong season maybe, but I don’t give a damn… Only the Saddle Club could satisfy this.

This was though a DVD that was 1 for 59 and 2 for 99, so I figured I’d keep look since I actually found two different Saddle Clubs here! So I went to this cartoon box, and found another no. 9! A little disappointing, but at least it was some sort of sign… My mum came though and we were just about to leave when I once again see another No. 1 DVD on the OTHER side than I was looking, so I said to my mum that please, just let me look this through fast… So I did…And once again I recognize the print… brown… Nope, I have no brown…

The same procedure again. Heart pounding, pulling it up…. “The Saddle Club no. 12” SCORE!!!! One more Saddle Club I didn’t have and now I was well satisfied. Tonight, there will be a lot of horseing around here.

I still have the gaps, but right now…I don’t really care…. I at least have some of the goddamn DVDs!!!!!

Hello world, this is me! life should be, fun for everyone!

Alice Cooper to Getaway Rock

Posted in Uncategorized on January 13, 2011 by Sara Hammerzmith

Just noticed Alice Cooper was announced for Getaway Rock Festival, I am sold. At least for one day (if they even have those tickets?) Alice Cooper once a year is not only a tradition, but a must.

Show By SO.’s entry forthe finnish Melody Grand Prix, can’t really get it out of my head you know!

So, first entry of this year. This have been one lazy day night stuff… Spent the entire night fooling Thomas by writing in his name and I tried to watch “Fjorton Suger”, didn’t work out with all the “trolling”. And now I start to ask myself, why are people shooting rockets the day after New Year? I don’t get it… so I give you Pamela instead!

2010 – summary & predictions.

Posted in Uncategorized on December 31, 2010 by Sara Hammerzmith

It’s time for me to sum up my year and leave some predictions or something, So here it goes!

January
After four long years Wig Wams third album “Nonstop Rock n Roll” finally showed up, and we celebrated it by going to the releaseparty in Halden. This was also the month when I started renting Axa for the first time. I was also still interning in the stable.

February
On February, Stockholm Rock Out announced the best thing that would ever happen to me. Slaughter was confirmed for a gig in Sweden. I also did an interview with Gotthard and met the very nice person Leo Leoni! I also met Sofia for the first time, for REAL if you know what I mean.

March
In March nothing real spectacular happened, I did compete in a crossover competition with Axa but failed badly.

April
I printed my very own magazine featuring interviews with Hellcity 13(Mika), Show By SO. (Stala), Gotthard(Leo Leoni) and Wig Wam.  It was also in this month I got the devastating news that OF COURSE, Slaughter was too good to be true and had been cancelled. I had planned not going at all, until I won a Meet & Greet with Tigertailz!

May
Even though the crisis with the Vulcano, Stockholm Rock Out Part1 did a good try out, and succeded. I met the lovley Tigertails, or, Sarah Firebrand and all the rest, also met the lovley girl Ida! One week later it was time for me and Sofia to jump on the bus to see Lady Gaga and also meet Sara (Dreyra) and Elin! Lovley. But the happines didn’t stay long until we, May 16th, was told Ronnie James Dio had passed away. May was also the month for the Eurovision Song Contest and an amazing week in Oslo!

June
Sweden Rock took part, and it was a lovley festival with one of my favebands, Cinderella, playing. It didn’t end too well unfortuneatley, since I was robbed the last night.

July
I attended the Rockweekend festival with the very best Anna and judge death, I had sucha blast! I also attended the Extreme Horse Makeover.

August
In the Lordi world, this was the time most things happened. On August 3rd the new costumes were released, and it was well mixed feelings about that. Sonisphere happened too, which I attended to with Hanna and on the preparty with Crashdiet I hooked up with Sara and Elin again! One week later me and Sofia attended Crashdiet in Västerås and tied a bond stronger than ever. HEAT also announced their new singer which I wasn’t too pleased with, but I got over it. This was also when I started to hang out with Pucko again, my stupid iPod.

September
The high anticipation for Lordis new studioalbum “Babez For Breakfast” grew bigger and I got so pissed everyday I came home and it hadn’t arrived yet. I also attended Stockholm Rock Out part 2, where for the first time in 5 years, Wig Wam had a concert in Sweden. I also took a trip with Paula to Helsinki and Nosturi to have some breakfast with Lordi. Sofia and I went to the market and got ourselves some Reckless Love glasses and I also attended Sabatons concert in Karlstad.

October
It began pretty good with me being featured on Lordis website but else… This month sucked hard. At least the start. It began with on the 1st october, to be told, that Reckless Love had cancelled their performance at SRO part 3. I made us real sad, and the news about Show By SO. being in ESC hit us like a punch in the groin. Did it mean…? And yes it did. On October 4th we lost our dearest alienmanbeast, Kita, to the world of pop and glamour, and the day after, the singer of Gotthard was announced dead after being killed in a car accident. And the day after that, it was announced that the entire SRO part 3 was cancelled… Huh… Can you believe it? And no…. It doen’t stop there. The Crashdiet concert we were supposed to attend at the end of October was also cancelled. ALL IN THE SAME WEEK. How is it possible? Apparently it is. However, thing started to slowly turn over when me and Sofia instead had a nice shopping weekend in Stockholm.  On October 26 the new drummer was presented to us, Mr Otus, the mad butcher.

November
Thanks to the mental breakdown Monsterboard had, Me, Martine and Thomas bonded hard and this ended up to be an epic weekend in Oslo where we were doing all kind of things really. Somewhere here our plans to go to Hannover to see Lordi died, and in just a week, a trip to Paris and Trabendo was planned instead. I brought Martine, and Thomas was already down there, and this ended up being the most epic trip of the year. I met Ginny, Isa, Jasmin, Sofie, Maike and Marjolein and Burning Black and we ended up meeting Lordi (w.out Kita :'() and they played “My Heaven Is Your Hell” and… Yeah…

December
This was a pretty calm month, I did, thank god, together with Sofia, attend to Crashdiets show in Karlskoga, and it felt kinda nice to wrap up the music year with them. Else not much happened in December.

This year has been pretty good after all, even if it happened major bad things.

Predictions for next year.. I really hope I get to catch both SO and Reckless Love live, and also Lordi somehow. In my wildest dream, I hope Slaughter comes back. Maybe Bon Jovi could get his ass here too… Yes.
I hope I will get to meet a lot of new Lordi fans on gigs, and I hope to spend more times with the fans I know, and with Sofia, and Sara and Thomas and Martine And Ginny…

I also wanna say thanks to these people for making my year awesome:
Jordan M, Michal B,”King”, Nikola M, Jonathan N, Thomas C, Martine F, Curt U, Sofia A, Sara A, Elin J, Jennie F, Martina A, Anuska D, Ginny C, Isabelle D, Sophie, Ida E, Carro C, Maria, Jonny K, Lucas C, Jarmo H, Juha S, “Erina”, Martin T, Louise A, Anton D, Anna D, Elina B, Andrea A, Sol A, Christian J, Mustafa, Linnea M, Emelie V, Olivia E, Beatrice Y, Amanda B, Hanna G, Cornelia P, Emma R, Katja T, “Jocke Sigurds”, “judge deah”, Paula L, Lina L, Tuija L, Hanna H, Anna T, Marjolein V-D, Maike, Stefano M, Alessandro J, Enrico A, Cecilie CCH, Mr Lordi, Otus, Awa, Amen, OX, Glam, Teeny, Sporty, Flash, Simon C, Martin S, PeterL & Eric Y.
