Ok so, I actually spent most of the day watching Eurovision again, this time together with the Australians who had a re-run showing at a more apropriate time. This was one train wreck after the other – no matter how much I paused, I’d still end up ahead of them, up until the percussion part where I ended up half an hour after them.

However, it was AMAZING as hell, despite knowing all results and all, to watch with some dedicated people who loves it as much as me (at least I assume so!) And since I’ve calmed down since yesterday…

First of all. I’m so fucking happy Sweden won. I was so scared Russia or Italy would win, because I HATE being in second or third place. Go Månsy! I’m so fucking proud.

But something I thought about. When Russia were seemingly the winner, did anyone noticed what happened in the background? How the entire, ENTIRE, crowd was cheering “Sweden! Sweden! Sweden!”. Never before, EVER, have I heard an entire crowd chant for the same country. But I guess, that in the end, the freedom to love whoever you want is more important than your favorite to win.

The lady from Hungary didn’t even get to start give some points before the cheering for Sweden began. This is wonderful, Curt can verify, my breath was taken away from the support. And I couldn’t even speak when we realized Sweden had again won Eurovision. God, I can’t even…

However, even though I know it’s nothing personal against Russia, I’m still a bit sad to see people booing whenever they get a 12. It’s not the singers fault Russia has the law they have, and they shan’t be punished for it. Kudos to the hostess that gave a “warning” to the crowd.

And it especially sucks, when, after all is said and done, Russia had the best song of this years contest.

WE FUCKING WON. I’m sitting here, on the phone with Curt, CRYING BECAUSE WE HAVE FUCKING WON THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST AGAIN!!!!! I CAN’T EVEN WRITE, I’M TOO FUCKING HAPPY!   WE ARE THE WINNERS, OF EUROVISION!!! WE ARE WE ARE! WE ARE WE ARE!!

Seriously, I’m in this really weird Triosphere period right now. I can barely listen to anything but Triosphere. I went through the catalouge I had by Kittie, and The Lounge Kittens but I still found myself going back to Triosphere. It inspires me to no end, and I don’t even know why.

I guess we can all say “The Heart of the Matter” grows on me for everyday, even more than I already liked it. I think it’s something with Ida’s vocals. It’s like… it’s powerful, yet sweet. She goes full on in certain songs, but have no issue taking on the high notes when needed and fitting. Fucking love it.

Aside my new obsession with Triosphere, the day has been fairly slow. The fever is still going strong with me, and I really wish it would just be gone. Like, now. So I could do stuff.

SWEDEN IS THROUGH PEOPLE!

In all honesty, I wasn’t too worried. We do have a decent song, a cool singer and a cool performance, it was more “Come on, say it already!” so no big surprise really. The rest of the qualifying countries are:

• Lithuania
• Poland
• Slovenia
• Norway
• Montenegro
• Cyprus
• Azerbaijan
• Latvia
• Israel

Not too surprised Norway made it through, and the only one I’m really missing is Iceland… but aside that… It’s a strong game on Saturday!

Spent the day sketching. Sketching designs on clothes I wanna make, as well as re make. I need to save up for a model doll, so I have something work around. So far I spent most time guessing, and sure, it was worked pretty fine for now but you know… Could be handy.

Spent the evening with Jennie. We made some wok and talked about everything. Most of the times we have met, we’ve talked about the cabin, the summerplans and such and never really had time to actually catch up and talk about things such as life. Mighty nice. Finishing it off with barbequeing marshmallows over lit candles as usual.

It’s kind of our thing.

Okay so basically, the first semifinal just got wrapped up like a bit over an hour ago and the… results are surprising, to say the least.

First of all…

• Russia
• Romania
• Hungary
• Greece
• Estonia
• Georgia
• Serbia
• Belgium

While I found it… surprising (not) to see all these Eastern countries go through, what screwed me over the most was Belgium. Like, I rarely hate on Eurovision Songs, but seriously, I can’t stand this one. And to see them win, over DENMARK AND FINLAND WHO HAD REALLY GOOD SONGS, made me fucking boil.

My personal favorite from this round was Moldova though. As most of you know, Moldova is my baby, and regardless of song, I always root for them, but this time around I really DID Like their song and I had hoped for them to qualify, but of course not. Sad indeed.

Let’s see what Thursday brings us.

Started off my day with some re-decorations of my room. Seriously, when I get into something, I really GET INTO IT. Like, I can’t freaking stop. Not even if my life depended on it.

Later I met up with my classmate and dear friend Anna, and we spent a good almost five hours walking around all over the place here at home talking about everything. About music, work, studiotime, school, future plans, further educations, life, concerts… it’s good to meet up with a fellow peer of yours who’s been at the same where you are. She’s technically in the music producers class, but still. It was amazing catching up, even though the weather is fucking freezing.

With all that being said, I’m gonna make myself a cup of tea and then read a book, for the first time in forever.

Been a calm day. Spent most of re-arranging things in my room, such as getting rid of a scanner that’s been underneath my computer desk for about 12 years or so. I’m not even sure it works, which is why I put it away. By taking it away I could instead store some of my magazine there, which allowed room to store even more magazine and folder underneath the computer desk, WHICH, created one whole shelf that’s completely empty, and a place to put away some Disney movies, making another shelf empty.

Wow, quite productive. And it’s interesting to see, how small changes can become so big. I’m not even sure anymore what to do with all this space. I guess it will all be filled up once I properly start cleaning this room. But on a side note, I have at least found out where the heck I can store CD’s once the Blue Shelf becomes full, and that’s always a start, right? Because it will be. Very.. Very… Soon.

You know what else is very soon?

Sweden Rock.

Hell yeah baby.

So, for the first time since the tour I actually took myself the time to “unpack” all the merchandise I bought during the last tour. Obviously, they were unpacked from the suitcase, but I had put them in another bag, mostly because I didn’t know what to do with it all. And oh my god.

So what is it even we see here. Two “magazines” -> Studiodiary for To Beast, and illustrated lyrics for Scare Force One. Pristmatic tour programme. A Lordi poster where I accidently excluded OX… Katy Perry pins, glasses, Tshirt…. And shirts with The Lounge Kittens, two Hollywood Groupies tees, two Lordi (House of Ghost + Tour shirt) one Dirty Passion and Amaranthe tourshirt.

And after I took this shot, I realized I left out all the CD’s I got – Hollywood Groupies’, Dirty Passion’s, Kittens’, Engel’s…. It’s fun… No it’s not. It’s not fun at all to think about how much money you spend on these kind of things, and despite you being aware of this… you still do it!

Oh, what don’t we do for our bands…

This day has gone so fucking well it isn’t even fun. Met up with Anna earlier today after so many months apart, and it was a rather inspiring meeting. We walked around downtown and talked and planned and even got some things in mind.

After this I’ve done nothing but spending the day at home, occasionally cleaning, doing laundry, doing some writing and listened to a LOT of music. Been sitting outside in the sun a lot. Ahhh, I love the summerweather.

Seriously, this day has gone SO SMOOTHLY, that I’m sure something REALLY bad will happen at work tonight. I guess we will see.
