Lordi, I salute you!

It was ment to be a post about Stockholm Rock Out (Pretty Boy Floyd & Lizzy Borden) but it has to wait. I have to salute the one and only supermonstars: Lordi.

Today I recieved the masterpiece, “Babez For Breakfast”. And yes, it is one masterpiece. Each and every track are monstrous, powerful and lovley. Some songs even surpriced me to be better than I expected them – like “Loud and Loaded” or “Discoevil”. But nothing beats the powerful three I already mentioned – “Babez”, “Nonstop Nite” and “Midnite Lover”. My vocalisthero Mark Slaughter is doing a cameo in “Granny’s Gone Crazy” and people who knows me knows how much I freaked out over the fact they were using _THE_ man!

Also the artwork is marvellous. It feels like each and every painting in the booklet (each song has its own painitng) tells something about the story, this is also what brings my mind to oralsex when it comes to the titletrack. It’ll be my challenge to you to figure out why.

This is the best Lordi ever preformed, and it was worth waiting each day. Ok – I would have freaked out if I hadn’t got it today, but now, it feels all worth it. This is the best they ever done, it tops “Deadache” even! (Which, no matter what, was my favourite album with Lordi) I love everything about it; even the outfits. I might have been a little harsh in my first review of them, but when I realy saw the context of Lady Awas costume, I just… died. It was just awesome.

I wanna bring a big toast for this, a big toast for what may be the best album of this year. Babez For Breakfast by Lordi.

Thank you Lordi. I salute you!
