Today I woke up to some really good news! Another 19 bands has been announced for Sweden Rock Festival. And it’s looking good people!

Here are the new additions. Five Finger Death Punch, Def Leppard, Opeth, Airbourne, Meshuggah, Evergrey, Exodus, Mannfred Mann’s Earth Band, MadMax, Kaipo Da Capo, Samael, Jon English, Battle Beast, Lillasyster, Electric Mary, Hazy/Dizzy, The Order Of Israfel, Avatar and Tony Carey.

The acts that exictes me the most on this list for now is Def Leppard, Exodus and Avatar. The last time I saw Def Leppard was when Sofia and I went to London a few years back to catch them together with Mötley Crüe and Steel Panther (Love the fact that Mötley also plays this festival, huh?) so I was just waiting for them to come back! Mighty happy.

Avatar. Ahh, where do I begin. Last time I saw them this summer and I was so bummed when their performance at Knotfest wasn’t streamed, so I’m pretty excited to know I’ll be seeing them at SRF next summer! Exodus would be so fun to see again too, I don’t think I’ve seen them since the very special occasion on Christmas Metal Meeting in 2011, where we had our little situation with them at the airport, haha. Oh the memories.

Well, I’m starting to really like the line up for Sweden Rock. Next year is going to be awesome. VERY awesome.
