Alright guys. I don’t have a lot of exciting things to tell you, but I’ll tell you this.

I almost fainted when I saw the Mission Marvel commercial on DisneyChannel.

Do you know what this means?

It means not only new Gravity Falls episodes every Saturday, BUT ALSO FUCKING MISSION MARVEL ON NOVEMBER 8th!!! AHHH! I CAN’T WAIT

I CANT WAIT

I CANT WAIT

But now I have to fucking hurry to clear my DVD. And I’ll start tomorrow. HARDCORE this time. Wish me luck!

Cum on Feel the Noize

Posted in Uncategorized on October 28, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

This has been the absolute most productive day ever, I’m sure. For once in a very long time I’ve found some sort of… I don’t know,  peace? Or perhaps structure. Structure on my life. And it makes everything A LOT easier because now you know that you’ve done good for the day. I struggle a lot with feeling as I’m not worthy in for instance, playing The Sims or reading fanfics. But fuck this shit – I’ve gotten a structure, and get things done, so, no harm done I suppose.

What else. Oh. I’ve told myself to stand in the corner of shame. Why? Well. I received a promo-record by an upcoming Finnish band today (tell you more about it when I’ve reviewed the CD) and listen to most of their songs on repeat. I was listening to song number three on the record, and after about four listens I sit there and are all like “This guy sure tries to sound like Mr Lordi. He sounds a hell lot like Mr Lordi. Why would he even do that I mean….. OH. WAIT. WAIT HOLD ON A SECOND”.

And then I remembered that Mr Lordi was doing a guest-voice on this record. Despite this, I failed to recognize his voice at first. Yes, you are all allowed to bash me SO hard for this. And throw tomatoes and bananas at me. Go ahead! DO IT!

Well. Major Monogram is screaming “Look at that platypus, look at that platypus” out of my speakers, which is a cue that it’s time to retire… for tonight.

Rest in Peace, Simon the Hamster

Around noon today, my deeply beloved hamster since two years took his last breaths wrapped in a towel in my arms.

Simon, you’ll be missed more than you can ever believe.

Into the Future

Posted in Uncategorized on October 23, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Today is a good day. I had a long day at work today, but thats okay, because you know what I found when I came home?!

THIS:

INTO THE FUTURE! WHOOOO!!! I’m just installing it as I’m writing this. I still haven’t played some of the other games I got, mostly because, in all honesty, I didn’t look that much forward to this one. I’m not a big fan of all this futuristic stuff, but you know, who am I to judge! I’m eagerly waiting to play it, especially after a day like this.

Also, this is my 600th post! Of course it had to be about The Sims!

Excitement, excitement!

Why should I worry?

Posted in Uncategorized on October 21, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

This has been a great weekend. So, this summer we planned to go to Boda Borg, but we never really got away due to reasons, but yeah mainly because of work haha. But now, at last, and together with yet another friend of our we got on the way.

It was so great to be back. To be in the house, amongst all the quests, or, as they call it, “reality gaming” and just to run around there and choose what game to take next. If I don’t recall wrong we started off with “Maya”, oddly enough. I guess I’ve gotten so used to them that I aren’t too scared of them anymore.

But, something nice to see since we were there the last time, is that both the Farm and the Mummy quests had been updated, and they were more fun than ever. Must say I almost had a heartattack when the chicken noise started after we finished the challenge.

AND NOT TO FORGET. For the first time ever, with some brains, as Baljeet puts is, we got Bootcamp. We finished fucking Bootcamp. I feel so happy about it.

Although, the most fun, always happens in the rooms afterwards. Where we ate dinner, where Michelle didn’t even get her dinner at first, and I got fries on my pizza and what not…. And when Emelie got the idea of mummifying Kim and they ran around the whole room and he throwing spit out marshmallows at her… dance parties… you name it! It was a blast. And even though we had the exact same room as last time, it was the best. I can’t wait to get back. But not until the new quest is built.

Olly Murs

Posted in Concerts, Uncategorized on October 16, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Like I mentioned some days back, I had planned to see Olly Murs in Stockholm. Haha, funny, isn’t it? planned to see. As if I didn’t see him. But I did, but for a while it seemed like I wouldn’t.

5 o Clock traffic delaying the bus. Long walk to the hotel. Checking in.

The receptionist at the hotel actually recognized me from when I stayed there when going to Bon Jovi. How amazing isn’t that. I love it. I’m sure as hell going back to that hotel, no doubt.

Getting ready for the show. I had big plans on what to wear, but being in a bad mood, which I am a lot lately, I settled with an overzied Mickey Mouse shirt tucked into skin-tight jeans with a conchobelt and black Converese copies. After all, DisneyChannel was the place I discovered Olly Murs at, so Mickey sure do the trick.

Getting to the arena, getting completely lost at Gullmarsplan. Seriously, I went the wrong way twice. Eventually I found my way. I was so late even the security had gone inside. Gladly, the only thing I missed was the supportact, Ulrik Munther which I didn’t want to see that much anyway.

Placed far in the back. Or perhaps more in the middle. A bit away from the stage, regardless. When he began with “Army Of Two”… it felt like the world, or the universe disappeared. “Dance with me Tonight” will always be my number one song by him, and letting go of everything in that song, dancing the night away, or at least how it felt like, is exactly my kind of medicine. It’s a shame I didn’t have enough courage to dance with the guy in front of me, his friend didn’t fancy doing it him. Oh well. You live and you learn, right? The climate in the room though. How everything floated, dancing with him in “I’ve Tried Everything”… Oh my goodness.

I’m not gonna write a full length about this. I’ve sort of lost my touch with writing about concerts, not sure why, but I sure felt like I was in the Right Place, the Right Time, right there, at Arenan, with Olly Murs, the band, and a lot of other fans. Watching an amazing performer singing some of the absolute most feel good songs you could ever imagine.

Thanks Olly, for one of the most perfect nights of my life.

Oh I might add. I actually forgot my camera at home. Yap. The person who usually always make sure I always have my camera with me, actually forgot it. I even had the camera charger, but not the camera. Hence the quality. But you know, who cares.

Setlist:
Army of Two / Dance With Me Tonight / Personal / I’ve Tried Everything / Hand on Heart / Hey you Beautiful / I’m Ok / Oh My Goodness / Loud & Clear / One of these Days / Superstitious / Please Don’t Let Me Go / Dear Darling / Right Place Right Time / Heart Skips a Beat / Troublemaker

“So this is what it feels like, being at the right place the right time”

Rock of Ages – the musical

Posted in Concerts, Uncategorized on October 8, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

So, like I said, we were going to Stockholm in order to see the Rock of Ages musical. I saw the movie twice or even more in the cinemas, and I figured I had to see the real deal. I figured on beforehand that it would be slightly different from the movie, and I wasn’t sure what I had to expect. I’m just gonna point out here that I’m not a regular musical visitor, in fact, it’s been years since I last attended one, so in case you’re someone who attends them often and reads this, it won’t make a lot of sense to you.

Anyway, about the musical. I don’t know what to say – more than WOW. It blew me away. Like I stated earlier, it’s been some time since I actually saw a theater, and it was rather pleasing to actually see some live-acting on stage. I might have to start to attend to more musicals or theaters as of now.

Apart from that, I think the cast is perfect. It’s a fine mix of (for someone as uncultured as me) famous and not-so-famous actors and musicians, having Johan Rheborg, Peter Magnusson, Hanna Hedlund and Joacim Cans amongst them. Hanna Hedlund, she’s one of my childhood heroes so it was a pleasant surprise to see that she was in! I had no clue. Very talented, delivering to the top.

How about the show itself then. Well, I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard in a very long time. A lot of the contains were just pure comedy gold, and this mixed with an amazing storyline and brilliant music just made this perfect. I must admit that at times I had difficulty keeping up with the timeline, but I think this has a lot to do with that I’ve seen the movie so many times, and was expecting it to be a little bit like it, even thought it was… practically NOTHING like it. I guess the “Anyway you want it” scene was the same… But I’m not sure if any other scene was, and not to talk about all the “cut” songs. It really gave a little extra, the little extra that actually made the movie fade a little bit.

I’d recommend everyone to see this musical, regardless if you like the movie or not, and regardless if you like 80’s metal or not. It’s pure comedy, great music, and of course it’s all performed by amazing people. I know for sure I’m planning to see this musical at least once more, preferably more than once.

Heartbreak Hotel

Posted in Uncategorized on October 2, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

It’s been way too long. I’m sorry about that. I guess the fun part is that I’ve been thinking about blogging but always failed to do so.

I guess I’ve been a bit uninspired. I haven’t been sure what to write about. I mean, most of the things I’ve been doing is just.. working or studying. Or watching Gravity Falls and Phineas&Ferb. And my The Sims 3 ain’t working, or to be fair, NONE of my The Sims’s won’t work so I can’t write about that either.

But this weekend I’ll be heading to Stockholm to see the Rock of Ages musical, and in two weeks I’ll be seeing Olly Murs. Perhaps a little more to write about then…
