Busy Doin’… A LOT.

Posted in Uncategorized on March 12, 2014 by Sara Hammerzmith

That’s not right, is it? Haha. No it isn’t. But it didn’t feel quite right to say I was busy doing nothing, because I’m not doing nothing! I’m doing quite a lot.

Except for today. I haven’t done a lot today. I went to see Frozen again in the cinema though. And this time, the staff greeted me with a “Eyyy, I think you’ve seen this movie before . You know where to go.”. That’s really sweet. He’d tease me both before and after the movie about my obsession. But you know, it’s okay. I like it. It’s cute. It’s cute to know they recognize you and all. Mihihihi. Talked to him about some future plans to. All very exciting!

Else from that, I’ve FINALLY gotten around to start on my Frozen shelf. This is basically what it looked like before.

Random CD’s. A Popcorn stand. Random horseposters and pictures of Stala&SO…. BUT NOW, the transformation has started!

såkanskejagblirsedd 012

This is what it looks like as of now. Not a whole lot has been done, more than me FINALLY getting the poster up. I’m planning to “get rid” of the programs standing next to the whine bottle and by that have Eurovision Song Contest and Frozen hand in hand next to each other. The programmes are gonna move to the other side of the room, and possibly they’ll be joined by a Pirate Fairy. Who knows.

You know, I kinda like the view. When I look out over my room nowadays, the first things I see are Eurovision, Frozen and my Kita shirts. All three things I love and appriciate so much in life. Makes me really happy.

My mood has been so good today. Until I decided to print some pictures I’ve been dying to print to put up on my wall of fame and my printer decided to go dipshit on me and print it all in pink. Thanks for that, printer.

Well. For now, I’ll just head back to applying for some jobs. I need myself a job. Like now.

I’ve been running around a lot lately trying to clean up here before my friend arrives. It’s not so much “cleaning” that need to be done as re-decorating and getting things away. I had hoped to get a frame today so I could stack away all my Frozen merchandise, but it appears it was a no-can-do. I hope I have better luck tomorrow.

Anyway. I was gonna show Paula a picture of my stack of CD’s I’ve gathered when cleaning up, when I decided it was a good idea to empty the tablet I have, so I don’t run out of memory, or rather, make sure to have saved everything in case I need to delete pictures on the go. When looking through the pictures, I found picture of the injuries I got during my stay in Italy.

And since I got nothing better to write about, I’m just gonna go ahead and talk about them. And to be fair, I’m fascinated with bruises. Not sure why. But I am. This is the first one:

20130423_093659

This beauty I got when me, Michelle and Argo was on our way to Fontana Di Trevi our second day in Rome. We were runnig up a stone-stair and I tripped on a step and crashing my knee against the last step of the stair, you know, RIGHT on the edge. The fun part is, my first reaction wasn’t to see if I had any injuries, but it was to check if my pants had broke. I had my favorite pants on, and I didn’t want them to break the first time I used them. Especially not since I had managed to fill my NEW converse-rippoffs with blood on our first day in Rome.

20130423_093652

Alright. This is, as you maybe can see, on the same leg as the previous bruise. I might add, I bruise REALLY Easy. I work in a stable right now, and I need only touch the hay-wagon to get bruises. I both love and hate it. This is anyway from the Lordi concert in Rome, I would believe. This is the normal kind of injury you get when going to a concert. I love it to.

I kinda like being bruised. I know – you must think I’m insane now. But I don’t know. Kinda shows of an active life. But I do hate it on some occasions. Like when we worked as Elsa and Anna at the cinema and I had the BIGGEST and BLACKEST of bruises on my upper thigh because I had walked into an iron wagon in the stable. Gladly, it was too high for it to be seen, but for Tinkerbell I had to use a double set of stockings in order to make sure my bruises couldn’t bee seen. So I guess that’s the downside of it all.

Oh well. Now you’ve learned some disturbing things of me. Now I’ll just return to wonder why Elsa is placed on top of my CD stack with Kristoff, Anna, Olaf, Hans, Sven and Flynn Rider(!?!) standing on the floor a bit away from it. Huh.

Wow. Everything is in such a blur as of now. The weekend was spent firstly at the cinema. Seriously. When I say I can’t stop my Frozen obsession, I really mean I can’t. Secondly, a party at Martina’s. I didn’t even find my way there, I blame darkness and epic NEO music for that. And of course my own stupidity. What else.

Anyway. A dear friend of mine is stopping by here next week, and I figured it’s time I started you know… to clean up a bit. The worst part with me cleaning, is that I always get interior ideas. I always start decorating and plan on what to put where and what not. I can’t wait to get to IKEA in order to get a frame so I can put up my Frozen poster and with that, be able to put away my entire, but small, Frozen collection. Will save so much place.

This week though, is gonna be crazy. I have SHITLOADS of studying to do as I wish to be done with as much as possible before my dearest arrives, but also because I have to work. And attend a funeral. And fix my room.

I can’t catch a break, can I? When was Frozen airing in the cinemas again?

Hugg genom hjärtat, kall och klar, hugg mot en kraft så underbar

Today I went to see Frozen in the cinemas again, and I think it’s something I’ll be doing quite often as of now. It’s running on it’s end, and I really wanna catch it as much as possible. It’s quite nice, sitting there in the dark all by yourself just watching the movie. I sat pretty close to the screen this time, and the 3D effects really got to me this time. Daym.

After the movies, the staff working there came up to me and handed me this little cutout:

frosttidning

Apparently Jennie and I had been featured in their magazine because of our cosplay! How awesome isn’t that! Thanks to the staff for giving it to me, much appriciated!

As if that wasn’t enough, I currently admin a Frozen fanpage on Facebook, and the girl who has the feature torn away from ours, randomly messaged us and I was the one to catch the message. What are the odds of that happening? Was a good day, I tell you!

Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy

Posted in Uncategorized on March 1, 2014 by Sara Hammerzmith

So remember how we “worked” at the cinema as Elsa and Anna during the Frozen premiere? Well guess what! We did it all again for the premiere of Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy! This time around though, it was a lot better planned and planned with the cinema, most importantly.

For this occasion, we actually planned out our own little backstage area in the back of the bathroom. We even had our own little chair and everything where we put all the eye makeup, and we closed one of their trashcans to put our wigs and hairproducts on. Do you guys understand what professionals we felt like? Daym man.

We started with crashing the first airing of the movie to make sure we knew what it was about. As you know, it isn’t released in many countries yet and we had failed to look up any information about the plot, and after seeing the movie, we are VERY happy we went to see it, because you know, plottwists. I’d recommend this movie to people actually! Anyway.

It was really cool this time around. More kids recognized us (granted, we were goddamn Tinkerbell!) and all the kids, as well as the staff at the cinema, was happy to see us. I just LOVE to make these kids smile. My vision has of course gone dim because of all the flashes, but damn. It’s worth it. The only odd thing that happened was the first “batch” of kids, who all just gathered around us. We sat down on the floor to talk to the little ones, and before we knew it, ALL kids was sitting around us. Like it was time to read a story or something. It was a little odd! But fun nevertheless.

I can’t wait ’til next time. But til then, we should probably make sure to be less messy when we leave our shit. I’m not sure how thrilled the staff was to find this…

Either way. It was just pure amazing. I’m thankful to the cinema for letting us do this. THANK YOU!

STEEL PAAANTHEEEEEER!

Posted in Uncategorized on February 19, 2014 by Sara Hammerzmith

Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah. The day had finally arrvied! I WAS GONNA SEE STEEEEEL PAAAANTHER!

This time, in the land of Frozen. Norway, that is. I was really excited seeing the boys again. As you know, they were supposed to play at Rockefeller, but due to high demand they were changed to a larger venue, Sentrum Scene! At first this worried me, as I had chosen a hotel REALLY close to Rockefeller, but then I realized that S.S. was just around the corner from Rockefeller.

I must admit though, at first I missed the hotel. It was like a staircase next to a gamers-hall of sorts (I might be wrong), which I completely missed delaying me almost an hour since I got lost! In Oslo! but once I got a hang of it, everything solved. At last.

The hotel was gorgeous though. I stayed at the tenth floor with the view over… well the city. And the mountains. Amazing. Since I was delayed, I kinda had to to hurry to get dressed. Decided to go all leather with some lepard heels for today. I absolutely love the fishnets shirt, and since you can’t really wear it in the summer (hello awkward sunburn) you have to take the oppurtunity in the winter!

steelpantheroutfit

Anyways. I decided to go there about half an hour before the doors opened, and quite the queue had formed! When I walked by it earlier it hadn’t been THAT much people, but now it was like WOOSH and people appeared!

It was pretty cool queueing. I was alone granted, but I had some fancy dudes behind me with glittery wigs they’d bought for 200 NOK. They looked smashing, I might add! Funky donky. It was a good atmosphere in the queue – we were singing Steel Panther songs and just waiting… and then the doors finally opened!

I was a little confused at first when I got in, as they have two “floors”. Like one upper with seats, and one “hovedsal” where you stand. Now, I don’t think they’d sold specific seating or standing tickets, but I wanted to stand! Eventually I found my way to the standing area and for GOD KNOWS WHAT REASON, I stood by Satchel’s side. I don’t even understand it now that I think back at it, given that Lexxi’s my favorite. What the actual fuck you know. Anyway. I was actually accompanied by the fellas behind me in line! Nice nice.

Anyway. Pretty right on time as I had expected, the supportband started. It was the Swedish/UK based band Blackwater that gave us the honor. Fine enough band! I’m a bit split about the music, but I think it something I’ll have to give a few listens. After playing for about 30-45 minutes the left the stage.

After some wait, Steel Panther finally entered the stage, opening up with “Eyes of a Panther”. As usual, a whole review can be read on hårdrock.com , Google Translates works just fine, it might change a few sentences, but it’ll give you the idea. I’m not gonna write much more about the gig actually, more than that it gave me chills. Not the band per se, but as I so often speak about. The crowd.

satchel1-768x1024

Do you understand. The whole crowd chanted EVERY SONG they had to play, including “Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World” and “Burden of Being Beautiful”. Do you understand, how amazing that must feel for the band? I myself was amazed. Damn, we rock sometimes.

After gig I didn’t do much. A really really kind crew-member handed me a set-list, bless him! He’s the best. Seriously, they are so kind. I also stopped by to pick up the “Spreading The Disease” girlie. I headed back to the hotel afterwards and pretty much lost my shit and jumped around to the beat of Icona Pop, ironically.

Yes, this is taken at home. Sue me.

The next day I went up extra early to take an early bus home. I had chosen a hotel that was fairly close to the busterminal, took me a mere ten minutes to get there. And while I was rushing for the bus, a little snowflake caught my eye. More precis, THIS snowflake:

format

I was one happy snowman when I saw this! Kept me entertained for the trip home. And they had a poster that included Hans. THANK GOD FOR THAT.

Well. I guess that’s all I have to say about this little trip. Thank you Steel Panther, and your amazing crew. Thank you thank you.

I’m feelin’ Super, super, you know I’m feelin’ super, super

Posted in Uncategorized on February 14, 2014 by Sara Hammerzmith

Going through most of my Phineas&Ferb songs at the moment currently having this one blasting. Kinda fits in on the whole mode, I must say. As you guys know, it was the so called “Valentines Day” today, but as the forever alone person I am, I spent it alone. Or not really. I had Hans here to keep me company.  No okay, joke aside.

So remember a few days ago when I told you there was gonna be a ticketsale happening today and I was a little nervous for it?

WELL GUESS WHAT?

WE. GOT. TICKETS! Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah! After about 30 minutes of struggling, we finally got to get standing tickets to Lady Gaga’s artRAVE. It was kinda ironic. I had literally given up hope on getting tickets all in all, and was mindlessly searching and figured that if I find good seats, I’ll take ’em. At the time, it couldn’t even find two tickets together, but it did eventually. But  this time it said “will you accept spread seats” so I was like, yeah okay, better that I guess than nothing.

Then I look down on the note which tells you what seats you got and it says “Entré 4”. At first I was like, what does that even mean? I got so pissed. Then I saw the arrow pointing towards the standing floor and I was like, IS IT KIDDING ME HOW COULD WE SIT THERE.

And then it hit me. This wasn’t seated tickets. These were standing tickets.

I’m not joking, I literally started squealing like a dying cat and jumping on my chair and then hurried to pay for them. I didn’t even tell Sofia I had gotten better seats, I think she was well surprised when she noticed we actually got standing tickets!

What else have happened today. Well, I worked. And when I got home from work, I had another surprise coming at me.

THE ELSA CUP I ORDERED A FEW DAYS AGO! I’m so happy I can die, seriously. I was so gutted when this was sold out in Sweden, and then I managed to find it to a reasonable price on eBay instead. Thank you! It’s better than I thought it would be. On top of that, I also got a chocolate box from a dear friend of mine. Thank you so so much!

ifonlytherewassomeoneoutthere

Well. With all this, I guess I can just say one thing.

Happy Valentines y’all!… if only there was someone out there who loved you.

Frozen fractals all around

Posted in Uncategorized on February 13, 2014 by Sara Hammerzmith

Today was MAD. Work at first, rushing home, completing an English assignment, English class, run to the store to pick up a package, run home and complete a journalistic assignment. Are you surprised if I say my head is completely WHACKED OUT now? Jesus. On a sidenote, I do love it when it’s all hectic and stuff, because you know, that’s kinda when I feel most alive. But seriously, it’s gonna be some rough couple of weeks now. But the more I finish, the better.

That reminds me. I need to pick up on my business economics class. It’s the only one I’ve fallen behind on as of now, since I’ve been trying to keep up with Journalism and English first. And the Global Media things. See, for the first time in forever I confess to you that 1) I suck at school, 2) what I actually ARE studying at the moment. Which is English, Business Economics, Journalism, Organizational Theories and Global Media. Yes. All at once. All at fucking once. But like the superwomanchick you know that I am, I handle it.

Especially after today. Noticed how I said I’d picked up a package? This was the one package.

disneystore 006

WHAT COULD IT BE, WHAT COULD IT BE?

I opened it. And found bubblewrap.

disneystore 009

BUT WHAT WAS BENEATH THE BUBBLEWRAP? WHAT IS IT WHAT IS IT?

WELL I’MMA TELL YOU!

For the first time in forever, at least I got a chance

Posted in Uncategorized on February 11, 2014 by Sara Hammerzmith

Yes. There’s gonna be so much Frozen around here for now making you all boil of irritation. “Can you just stop being so obsessed with Frozen?”, well I’ll quote Elsa: “Don’t you see? I can’t!”

So no.

Either way. I will apologize a little quickly for being so dull in my updates. School and work is consumig most of time as of now, but for the first time in forever, it feels like I finally got a chance to pull this off. I’m not especially behind in either of my subjects, and I think I’ll nail it this time. Finally. It will take off some stress.

Or not.

You know what happens this Friday? Lady Gaga tickets go on sale. It’s fun, Sofia and I were just discussing how we’d love to see Lady Gaga again sometime soon, and before we knew it she had a gig planned. Huh. Timing, huh? Anyway. Tickets go on sales this Friday and I’m always a little hispy about these kind of things. What if I don’t get tickets? Whaaa.

Well. If I don’t, I can always console myself with Steel Panther this Monday. Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah. It’s finally here, after all this time.

Well, well, my bed is calling me. It’s quite a long day tomorrow, but I think I can handle it!
