La Isla Bonita

Posted in Uncategorized on January 20, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

I ended up on one of Madonna’s iconic tunes for some reason, in the middle of the night with Phineas&Ferb airing on the TV. And a hamster running in his wheel. Wow.

I’ve just finished writing down what books I need for the Journalists course I’m starting, and will soon enough do the same with the other course I’m starting on Monday.

While looking over my schedule, I realized I got each and every weekend ’til midst March booked up, be it concert or stable work or other things. Freaked me out a little, but I think I’ll manage. The most important thing is that I manage to fix school. In all honesty, I’m not very good with school, or more like, I have a hard time concentrate and get to the point to do anything. No, I don’t have a diagnoses or disorder, I just have troubles concentrate. Whenever I read in the schoolbooks, my mind always wanders off to “better places” I guess, and it’s usually at those points I come up with the best of our adventures.

But it’s not like that helps my case in getting my diploma, is it? Oh well. I closed my mysterybook for today, and will now check up on some courses I got on another university before retiring to bed.

Lil’ Ol’ Me

Posted in Uncategorized on January 18, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

So today I heard the first snippet from Lordis upcoming album “To Beast or Not To Beast”, or as I call it, “A.W.C.A” (Album Without a Cool Acronym). And…

Let’s just say it was quite sometime since I last snapped like this. Both me and Michelle listened to it together over Skype, and I pretty much went all “Hey, you ready for something?” and she was like “Yes” and then I played it.

And then we both snapped into clapping and IIIIH-ing like the disturbing fangirls we can be and just… fangirled. Then we started to talk about how much fun we’ll have in April when we see them (reminder to myself: Contact Argo immediately after you’ve written this!) because this era is going to be good, I got that hunch.

They got a new concept, new members, new fantastic costumes… and, looking at the statistics, this era should be good (in my taste that is). I’m so sure Italy is gonna be the biggest of blast, I mean, think about it! Roadtripping in Italy and seeing your favorite band hanging out with your best friends without any worries. Sure, I’m gonna leave in the middle of the time when I’m writing the big essay for my bachelors degree, but for some reason I can’t see myself worrying. Because it will be good.

We’re gonna have so much fun. And considering we might do a small stop in Germany on our way home to attend a certain convent makes it even better. This trip is sure gonna be something special.

Ironically, “Summer Belongs To You” with Phineas&Ferb just came on… of course it would. What other song would ever fit better to this?

And you gotta believe in something
So today I believed in you
And you came through, we made it
I’ve never been so proud
I know at first it seemed implausible
But we accomplished the impossible
Now there’s something that I’ve got to say out loud

Time is what you make of it, so take a chance
Life is full of music so you ought to dance
The world’s a stage and it is time for your debut
Don’t waste a minute sitting on that chair
The world is callin’ to you, just get out there
You can see forever so your dreams are all in view

Summer belongs to you!

The only sad part about this, is that there are plenty of people out there, even one I care very dearly for, that’s too busy bashing the band for what they do that the person is most likely gonna miss out on all this. And that sucks. But then again, what can I do?

Now, I should get to bed. And I must make sure to study and work hard now, to make Italy and this upcoming summer the best ever.

Eien No Melody

Posted in Uncategorized on January 17, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

I get a real odd feeling when listening to Sailor Moon songs. I can’t even describe what it is, I guess it’s some sort of deppressive nostalgia that just shovels over me, and most certainly when I hear “Eien No Melody” as it was the first song I ever recorded myself singing, and I remember I loved this song so so much and was very disappotioned that this very episode, where Rei enter some sort of talent show or music show, never made it to Sweden, they just skipped the episode because Rei’s dubber didn’t want to sing or they didn’t want to translate the song, or something like that. I might be wrong though, I haven’t been on the “Sailor Moon on Swedish” sit for a long time.

As a matter of fact I went on it a few weeks ago for the first time in like 10 or 12 years. It was quite odd actually, to go back to the page that used to be my favorite when I was younger.

Yeah. It’s odd isn’t it? Whenever I went on the internet when I was younger, you know, the time when your internet was connected to the phonewires, I’d only use the internet to print pictures of Sailor Jupiter or Zoisite, or just printing pictures of anyone from Sailor Moon, Digimon and at some occasions, Pokemon. I remember I was at my grandparents using their computer once, and I was gonna show my grandfather who Sailor Jupiter was. Thing was the picture was SO HUGE and their modem wasn’t very fast, so it took about 30 minutes just to load a picture of Sailor Jupiter. If I recall right, it should be this one or someone similar to it.

I even remember how I learned the english word “Important”. I had been reading ahead of Digimon online, finding out Kari was Tai’s little sister, and I asked my mom how you said someone was important to someone, as Kari was important to Tai.

But yes. I was on one social network site, Kamrat.nu. But I only talked to Sailor Moon fans on there. I even had that huge picture of S. Jupiter on my page. God, those were the days.

Sometimes I see all the small, small pictures I have taped up on Ami, S.Moon, Minako or S. Jupiter on various locations in my room. If you’ve visited me, I doubt you’ve seen them, Minako is taped on the side of my door, meaning, you can only see it when the door is open. Ami is taped on the edge of the door, on the lower edge, close to the floor. Sailor Moon is right in the middle of the door, together with all the other nonsense on my door. And S. Jupiter… that one you’ll never find. Because she’s covered UNDER a Pokemon poster that is buried UNDER a couple of The Sims posters that are buried under a KISS poster that is buried under some clothing. So yeah, if you can bear yourself to dig into all this, you’ll find her. And you’ll also find my Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears posters too.

Like I said.

Those were the days.

Made Me Realize

Posted in Uncategorized on January 11, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

So wow, not very much updated lately, huh? Well, I haven’t had much to say, and I don’t really do now either. I don’t know, fellow readers, what do you think I should do when I don’t have anything to write about? Review old Phineas&Ferb episodes? Review other series? Talk about old concertmemories? Tell me! I mean, I must keep you a little entertained, mustn’t I?

Either way, tomorrow I’m heading for a youths leaders course, so I’m really just blogging because right now I’m waiting for my recorded episode of Gravity Falls to end so I can make space on my recorder. I figured it could be wise to start collect Gravity Falls already now when it’s only like, five episodes out in Sweden. It hasn’t bee the easiest collecting 173 Phineas & Ferb episodes, but considering there is only 15 missing now, and 8 of them being recorded just on the wrong recorder, and 2 of them being unaired (Meapless and Norm Unleased). I’d say I did a pretty good job. I also think one of the episodes on my “not recorded list” is actually recorded, I just haven’t kept the record of it. Hah, see what I did there?

Considering we’ve reached “Norm Unleashed”, this leaving it like what, 8 episodes left on this season makes me fear a bit about “Meapless”. What if they ACTUALLY forgot Meapless?! Haha, that would’ve been hilarious. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Now I’m gonna erase “Emperors New Groove” from my recorder and go fetch “Nerdy Dancin'” and whatever part of “Unfair Science Fair” it was I had recorded. I need to make room for 4 hours tomorrow, minus the Gravity Falls episode I’m gonna get up to record myself, and the one I got recorded today.

Happy Topsy Turvy Day!

Posted in Uncategorized on January 6, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Well hello everyhopa!

Today’s the day we do the things that we deplore all the other three hundred and sixty four days!

You know I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame. So of course, as any other HoND (or perhaps even Disney fan?) I celebrate Topsy Turvy. So most of the day I’ve been listening to the soundtrack, reading my favorite parts of the book, listened to an audiobook and just been inhaling everything Hunchback. It was nice.

So. Why do I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame so badly?

I figured I’d dedicate an entry for that, I mean, it’s actually HoND’s day today, and if you can’t stand it, it’s just up to you to stop reading.

Well. I mean, we can go over the basics, like the incredible music written by my favorite Disney composer Alan Menken (And he’s also responsible for scores as Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Pocahontas, Tangled, Home on the Range… Uh, Yes, that pretty much covers it) and lyrics written by Stephen Schwartz in a way… it just.

Look. There isn’t a single song that leaves you untouched. The Bells of Notre Dame tells you the story about how Quasimodo got into the hands of Dom Claude, and what he did to “get” or, “end up” with him. They way you basically see Dom Claude kick Quasis mother to death, and the fright in his eyes when he feels all the eyes of Notre Dame onto him. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m just feeling it. And when Clopin says “Who is the monster, and who is the man?” Well, DUH. Of course Quasimodo is the monster!

Next song is “Out There“.
I mean sure. I want to punch Phineas so hard for being so oblivious to Isabella. But the way Dom Claude right up front tells Quasimodo “You are deformed, and you are ugly” and that he’s a monster, it makes me wanna not punch him. But kill him. I haven’t before paid that much attention to what Dom Claude actually said until I had spent an all night writing an exam and watched the movie in the morning and those words just stood out. I remember I was eating pancakes, but I just dropped the fork and gazed.

How is it fucking possible? How can someone do that? “You are deformed, and you are ugly”. What the hell, who is Dom Claude to tell Quasi what he is? The fucking rage I’m feeling.

After this Quasi sings about his desires just to spend one day other there. It’s a beautiful tune, and at least the Swedish one, sings it with so much passion, that he really WANTS to get out of there. This one little wish.

This little wish, that comes true on “Topsy Turvy“. This song is joyful. Or is it? Nah, not really. They make it sound festive, the feast of the whores and bandits  and the feast where we’ll crown the most ugly person on the court. Which happened to be Quasimodo. It’s HEARTBREAKING to first see him SO HAPPY, The SHEER happiness Quasimodo shows at the end, when he’s crowned the king, after the people accepted him, even if it was as the King of Fools, and right after this, he is HUMILIATED by Frollo’s people at first, and then the rest.

God Help the Outcast” is the song that appears after this, and seriously. Always, when she says “God help my people, they look to you still” (okay, that doesn’t work, because she sings something completly different in Swedish) always tears me up. Or when she sits there and just.. pours it out. “I ask for nothing, I can get by”. Always tear me apart inside. Especially since this occurs RIGHT after Topsy Turvy.

Heaven’s Light”. This is at first a heartwarming song, about how Quasi feels for Esmeralda. This is the sweetest tunes, but becomes the most depressing one when Quasi sees Esmeralda and Phoebus kissing and repeates “No face as hideous as my face, was ever ment for Heavens Light” and the tears and he cries and tears the Heart of Ace’s into pieces. Once again, it may just be me, but it breaks my heart.

Now we’ve reached “Hellfire“. This, is my personal favorite in the entire movie, the villain song. Dom Claudes song about how he lusts after Esmeralda, and how much he wants her, but how he CAN’T have her because his religions tells him so. This song is what, 2 minutes, but it manages to tell the WHOLE story of Dom Claudes struggle, in a terrifying way. The music is so majestetic  and the Swedish voice actor makes it brutal. It scares me, it does.

So. “A Guy Like You“. That’s a sweet song. About how Esmeralda of course would want Quasi, I mean, a guy like him you just can’t meet anywhere. The stone figures really brings Quasi up. But wait. Can the stone figures actually talk? No. They can’t. And that’s why this other joyous song becomes so depressing, when you realize that this is all in his head. It’s himself, telling himself, that of course he’s better than Phoebus, or any other knight in a shining armor.

Court Of Miracles” is happening after this, and while that song is not really “sad” it’s on the other hand a bit brutal. I was quite surprised to see the joyful jester all of a sudden be so… insane. Bad, insane. “We find you totally innocent, which is the worst crime of all”  just makes you think of… gah, I don’t even know how to explain, but all the injustices you know. Many of the gypsies in his clan was killed for nothing, just as Esmeralda is about to be killed just because, yeah, nothing! Being innocent is the worst crime of all.

The Bells of Notre Dame Reprise” is the last song of the movie, and it happens right after the score “Into the Sunlight”, and that score always makes me cry out of happiness. Clopin asks you in the song, “What makes a monster, and what makes a man?”

And this is what makes the movie… just… sort of perfect.

What is it really, that makes a monster, and what makes a man?

In the beginning you are SO sure that Quasimodo is the monster, because, that’s what you’ve been told, that’s what Dom Claude says. But as the movie progresses, just as “Beauty and the Beast”, you realize, maybe Quasi isn’t the monster, after all. And it tears you up a little, that you actually thought for a second that Quasi could be the monster.

Uhm. Yes. This entry is now FAR over a thousand words, so I think I’m done ranting about it. But perhaps this gave you another understanding in why I find this movie so emotional, and perfect.

Now I’m about to head upstairs, and watch it. And cry.

Blackout!

Posted in Uncategorized on January 5, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Wow. This is just insane.

Look, DC and DXD have been weird all day showing these recent and rare episodes, such as The Doonkelberry Imperative, Sleepwalk Surprise and so on. It has fucked a lot with my head, so I was just about to go to bed, but I figured I’d watch this one last episode, just to see. And as I thought it’d be “Sci-Fi Pie-Fly” I put on the recorder, just in case.

And then I saw it.

This very screen.

(Source: phineasandferb.wikia.com)

“Blackout!”.

Not only is this a previously unaired episode, but it’s also the ONE episode, THIS ONE episode, that officially makes Phineas & Ferb the longest running cartoon in Disney History. (At least what I’ve heard.) AND it’s the Season 3 finale. Season 3 is now over.

Oh my god. It was almost like a religious awakening seeing it. And I loved it.

But what I loved even more, was “What’d I Miss?” that it was linked with. Not only because of the A-Leaky-Faucet-Inator, because, for some reason I was more excited to see that one than the actual episode, but also.. FERBS CLOTHES. Oh my god. He looked so fancy. So… so… fancy. Take him, those clothes, and add about 8 years. Fuck. Yes.

(Source: phineasandferb.wikia.com )

Okay. Before I get myself into trouble, I will just go over to Rule34 for a second and then go to bed.

By Getter Jaani. Still love this song to bits, I’m not the person who grows out of songs.

So well, today’s been quite productive. Worked this morning again, at the storage place. Even though it was a bit more hectic today, I still love it to bits. But as I said in my previous entry, I have big problems falling asleep, so the first thing I did when I came home was to pass out again, due to lack of sleep before.

But okay, that’s not even interesting. What else happened, well, we’ve got a new ridingteacher in the stable, so today was our first lesson with her, and it went… fine. Yeah. Could have been better, could have been worse, however, none of that had anything to do with the new teacher though.

But, on a more important note. Today I could finally, after all this time, put my hands on my very own bottle of The Fame by Lady Gaga.

perfume 026

I’ve been wanting that perfume ever since it came out, not only becuse it is hers, but because it actually smells nice! I haven’t really been able to afford it completly ’til now, but yes, today I picked up the package at the post office. And I love it. Love it love it. And yes, this is the Xmas set, Costs just as much as one bottle, so why not! Finally got something real to use beside the Disney Princess Aurora that loses all it’s scent after like 10 minutes.

But okay. Gravity Falls is on, chatting with some nice people, so I guess it’s time for me to wrap it up here. It’s not like I actually got anything interesting to talk about anyway.

Die Young

Posted in Uncategorized on January 3, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Okay, so I had this big plan for today. Nest week, Sweden’s Disney XD will start something called “Think Big” with Phineas&Ferb, which will be, after checking up on it, something similar to what occured between the “Where’s Perry?” episodes – meaning, A LOT of previously unaired (or at least unseen!) episodes. And, as it looks on the commercial, they may even air “Take Two”!

But then again. DXD showed us “Meapless” in the preview, yet no signs of it, so I guess I shouldn’t get my hopes up. But even if neither Meapless or Take Two airs, I still have some episodes I haven’t seen yet, so I’m superexicted for this.

But if this is gonna happen, I must make space on my recorder. It is HELL trying to chase episodes after they’ve been aired, so I figured I’ll just start catch new episodes as they air. But right now, I got ZERO space left. What does this have to do with today?

Well, I have a recording that I forgot to switch off once, that is 8 hours long and got only about four Phineas episodes on it. Thing is, those episodes ain’t on a row, so you’ll have to spend quite some time to divide the whole thing. But as I do so, I figured I could finish off old school stuff. Perfect, huh?

But that never happened. I worked early this morning, got up at 2.30 am already (Normally I wouldn’t even have gone to bed at that time!) and drove a long way and then worked in a storage, I guess you could say. Due to lack of sleep I passed out almost immediately as I came home, I recall hearing pieces of “Topsy Turvy” (you know, I got this Hunchback of Notre Dame Storybook CD spinning when going to bed?) but no more. I usually fall asleep some time after “Heaven’s Light”. And then I woke up around 7pm. So, yeah, not like I could do much of what planned!

So now I’ll do the only right thing to do. Grab some crisps and dip, and sit down to watch a movie. Oh yes. And I’m going up at 3am this morning as well. Fuck that. But oh well! I actually really love this job, so I shouldn’t complain to much.

And congratulations! You may just now have read the most boring blogentry ever!

New Years Eve at Martinas

Posted in Uncategorized on January 1, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

So, since all other plans failed we decided to join up with some of my childhood friends for some New Years Celebration.

I’m just gonna start off with saying that News Year’s is NOT my holiday. Sure, I love dressing up and getting fancy, but damnit damnit damnit! I dislike all the fireworks. On our way to Martina’s, Jennie, Elin, Jonny and Jimmie met up with us halfway so we would go there together. On our way we passed a couple of guys and when they were behind us they figured it’d be a good idea to let out some fireworks. THE SCREAM. Seriously, I HATE those kinds of things, like, sudden noises. Jennie and the guys however figured out I’d do good as an alarm bell.

The worst part is later on when I SAW the fireworks, and then the boooom came, but I still freaked out. I’m SO GLAD Martina doesn’t live that far away.

So yeah. Eventually we reached her place, and I mean… it was YEARS since I last visited her (my bad :/) But we were greeted with welcome-drinks and soon found our way to the livingroom. Her boyfriend popped in after being out with the dog and then the party was going, I guess you could say!

It was a great evening with LOTS, LOTS of laughter regarding cocksuckers, topics regarding biting someone’s cock off, how to apply makeup on your leg, discussing childhood memories and playing “I have never”. The night continued on until a bit after midnight when we decided to leave and get home as I was going up to work in the stable this morning. But it was a great night, and I hope to do it again soon!

newyears 008newyears 011newyears 014 newyears 015 newyears 016 newyears 017 newyears 018

So yeah. About today then… I’ve been working in the stable. And that’s pretty much it. And now I’m here. Planning the spring away with concerts. This year is going to be fantastic.

Summary of 2012

Posted in Uncategorized on December 31, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

Alright. So here we go again, writing a summary of what have been.

WordPress always pulls together statistics from the year by itself that every user can take a look at, seeing what they’ve accomplished with their blog throughout the year.

I had 5,600 viewers in total during the whole year, and the readers came from 90 different countries having most visitors from Sweden, United States and Germany. Users “Seance” and “Paula L” is my most frequent commenters, the first one posting three comments in a whole, and the second one two.

This year I wrote a total of 78 entries, and when you look at it, 78 entries on a year that’s 366 days long… That’s kinda weak. What the hell happened? Oh well, that’s something that needs to get better next year. My most popular post throughout the year was “Det här med andrahandsbiljetter och att köpa upp de” (despite this being written in 2011) and “Mr Kita” is still the entry holding the most comments, 12 in a whole. Neither of these were written this year, but I guess their topics have kept them alive.

My busiest day was June 2nd, and my most viewed post that day was “Christmas Metal Meeting: Lordi Show” and people found my blog searching for “Simon Cruz”, “Sampsa Astala”, “Tonmi Lillman”, “Lordi otus” and “Lordi kita”. Okay. Sure, whatever. It sure beats “Simon Cruz Girlfriend”, haha!

But okay. Let’s take a look at a REAL summary.

January
As you know, I began my new year in Norway together with some of my bestest friends. It’s also the month where I, after stumbling upon Esmeralda and Frollo on a Disney-blog I stumbled upon on a Gossip-blog watched Hunchback of Notre Dame again after like, 10 years. Or something. And then the others following. I guess you could say A Whole New World was starting. But January was also the month we planned a lot for our so called “Steel Panther” year (Not sure though now how much of a Steel Panther year it actually was, but who cares).

We also wrote our very first parody song, “Cloaca of Miracles” (Court of Miracles) and many would follow, such as “The Hair of Gothenburg” (The Bells of Notre Dame) and “Can you see the tacosnail?” (Can you feel the love tonight?) But we’ll talk about that later. It was also during January we learned that we would not be seeing Stala&SO. in Finland, but in Sweden! Three Swedish dates was confirmed, and of course, Argo, Michelle and I got on it and did them all. But more about that later.

February

February was a dark month. On February 15th, we learned that our beloved drummer Otus had passed away, reasons unknown. I still remember when I woke up that morning and scrolled through Facebook and wondered what the hell this sick joke was all about, and I had tons of Lordi fans texting me and asking me if it was true. After realizing this was very much true I called Martine up to talk about with her, as she was very close to him. I think none of us still to this day have quite gotten over it.  We still miss you, Lizard Butcher.

Mr Otus

March

It wasn’t until March that our “concert-year” would begin, and it would go out damn strong too! We started out with double Steel Panther dates in Oslo and Copenhagen, seeing Copenhagen being the most memorable one. I will NEVER forget the moment where Michelle pauses “Fat Girl” right before they start singing, and Michael fucking Starr starts singing it behind Michelle’s back. Just like that. I think both of our hearts stopped on an instant. I mean, these things just don’t happen, right? And after the show, when he stopped by us, and only us, to ask us how we were doing and thanked us for being there. This doesn’t happen right? We also met some damn cool friends that night as well, and I still doubt our judgement just following some unknown guys in an unknown city to their rehearsal lot. But everything turned out fine, so who cares? It was also after this we wrote the lyrics to “The Hair of Gothenburg” and we invented the “Tacosnail”.

kexigalexi2

On the end of the month it was time for us to go on our Stala&SO. trip, seeing them debuting in Sweden. I have a few strong memories from that trip, first one being when we sat down and had a drink with Sami and Pate before the show in Sweden and we had an interesting chat with them regarding vaginas and Mr Lordi… yes. I’ll leave it there. Then the next day in Trollhättan where Michelle laid down on the table because she was tired and Sampsa bent over infront of her to check on her and THE SCREAM she let out when she opened her eyes and saw Sampsas face infront of her. HAHAHAHA. Oh my god. It’s a good thing she doesn’t have a heartcondition, because she’d have died if she had one! I think Sami threw a towel in her face that same night. Poor Michelle.

April

This is a calm and silent month. Not much happened at all.

May

Sure. I didn’t do much in May. But something VERY BIG happened in May.

SWEDEN WON EUROVISION SONG CONTEST!

And. I mean. I say no more.

June

In June we went to Sweden Rock Festival, which I guess isn’t too much of a surprise to you. This year though, we had accreditation so we got to do some interviews and see some pressconferences. And seriously. The way Steel Panther screwed us over on the press…. I’m still not sure if I’m EVER going to forgive them for that. Oh my god. I died a little on the inside. But okay, as I know there are many butthurt people out there, YES I can take a joke and NO I don’t ACTUALLY hate Steel Panther for this, Good grief.

Schweden Rock 174

But not only did we see and enjoy(?) Steel Panther, we also saw my all time favorite band, the one band I’ve ALWAYS wanted to see live but never got the chance to. Slaughter. I remember the fucking day I woke up and checked Facebook and saw, in the small section you know, “Slaughter Added on the poster”

I was like. Haha. Funny. Probably the Canadian Death Metal band Slaughter. Then I noticed Chris wrote on my log “I take it you’re happy today? ;)”… that’s when I had to look. And when I saw their faces, the faces of Mark, Dana, Jeff and Tim on the screen together with the text “SLAUGHTER CONFIRMED”… I didn’t know what to do or where to go. The euphoria… I can’t. No. And when we saw them… I can’t. No, sorry, I won’t say a thing.

We wrapped up the month with seeing Sister here in Karlstad, making some new friends and having a good time.

July

So. In July, I discovered the two boys who would completely not only wreck my life, but also raise/change my standards in guys and be my biggest inspiration source. Yeah, nothing’s been the same ever since. Uhhhh, they sure drive me crazy. But I also got to thank them for a lot. It’s many, MANY things I wouldn’t have done or ever consider doing if it wasn’t for them, so I guess, thanks boys. Thanks.

But on a more serious note, July wasn’t a very good month Lordi-wise. We learned that Lady Awa had decided to leave the band. And even though she’s “only” leaving the band, it still, at the point, felt like Lordi was just falling apart you know. Kita had been fired just two years ago, Otus passed away and now Awa was gone… God. It didn’t look very bright there for a while. Thank God everything cleared up!

ladyawadepaysant

In July we in the GroupieBFF also spent a week together at Michelle’s place. A lot of madness, I assure you. Like waking someone up with bubbles, eating at restaurants called “Mulan” and of course, watching “Mulan” after that and ending the week with a full day at Boda Borg. OH THE BRUISES.

August

In August Emelie and I tried for the very first time to host a sleepover at the stable during the entire “Extreme Horse Makeover” camp. I must say, I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. Of course, it could have gotten A LOT better, but considering how everything started out, I must say I think we did pretty well. But yes. One day, we will have our revenge on them waking us up so early.

August was also the month for concerts, and this time MANY of them. We started it with Alice Cooper on Liseberg where I also met up with Argo, continuing with Skogsröjet and all their artists, including Sister, Reckless Love and Alice Cooper. Fatal Smile a week later, and a week after that it was time to see Lady Gaga again. Man. I love her so much.

But apart from that, I also had my Princess/Topsy Turvy/Glam/Metal/Whatever birthday party. Even though the turn out wasn’t all that big, I’d still say we had a blast. And I don’t think we will EVER listen to “Lovegame” the same way again. EVER. What the hell is it that happens whenever we get together?

kalais 022 kalais 024

September

September was also a month that ran a bit slow, but I did play heaps of The Sims 3, making great progress with my newest diamond, the superstar singer Candace Flynn.

Screenshot-812

October

In October, after many years, I finally managed to get my favorite childhood game to work. Atlantis: The Lost Tales. Of course, it was the creepiest game I have ever played, and still to this day I find it creepy, just ask Michelle, she’s heard when I play it.

But if we forget about Atlantis for a while, Steel Panther was back in Sweden for a small tour, and of course we got on both dates. We had an incredible night in Stockholm, but like Jennie once said, second night is always the best. In Gothenburg… man. Those were the days. First of all we had a blast before the gig – beginning with Janie bursting out “This is so… VINTAGE!” about my Megara cup, and afterwards when we spent and awkwardly long time with Michael Starr. And, actually, I’m gonna leave it there. He gave us pizza, and ranted at Michelle. But now, I’m gonna leave it there. Amazing things happened, but I’ll keep them for myself for a while.

At the end of the month we went to W.A.S.P to check out both them and Badmouth, and seriously, it doesn’t matter what show you go to. The people in this town surprises me…

November

So this was a little slow on the concertpart, but on the brighter sight, the special episode of Phineas&Ferb, “Where’s Perry?” the episode I thought we would have to wait YEARS for, AIRED!!!! Michelle and I had a BIG celebration for it, and it was so worth it. And I’ll never forget when we were just to start watch “Summer Belongs To You” when we noticed Phineas&Ferb would come on once more that night and figured we’d check out what episode, just in case. And I’m glad we did, it has become our mutual favorite episode. I mean, come on. IT’S WHALEMINGOS! and Baljeet losing it at Buford! What is not to love?

And after this, DXD and DC aired new episodes of Phineas&Ferb every weekend until the 2nd part was out. HEAVEN!

December

Ehm. So. On the same day as “Where’s Perry? Part Two” was to be released, a day that was supposed to be the happiest ever, everything wasn’t all that happy. A horse that I’ve been taking care of for a long time, Winerva, was put down on December 2nd after having a sore leg for a long time. Even though it was the best for her, it still doesn’t change that fact that I miss her, even though I was scared as fuck for her sometimes.

But if we focus on good things, Lordi’s newest members were revealed! Scarbie Hella and Priest Mana is the newest additions to the Lordi camp, and a whole new concept came along. I got a feeling that this is gonna be great, like Deadache-great. I mean, LOOK AT THE COSTUMES!

Hm, what else did we do. Emelie, Michelle and I went to Boda Borg together. Michelle and I saw Sabaton live here in Karlstad. And… yeah. I guess that’s that.

Thats the whole year in text. Michelle’s on her way here and later on we are heading to Martina’s to celebrate, a little while. Getting up working early tomorrow.

But okay. Now we’ve covered that, let’s move over to the predictions.

* See Pretty Boy Floyd live
* See Slaughter live DONE
* See Bon Jovi live
* See Van Halen live
* See Lordi live
* See Honey Hellraiser live
* See Stala & SO. live DONE
* Hang out with more people DONE
* Meet more rockstars DONE

Okay.. Well. Most importantly, I managed to scratch off the one predictions who’s been around for WAY too long – Seeing Slaughter live. I finally, finally, finally got to do it.  At Sweden Rock. Thank you so much for that. But I think I need to be more imaginative with my predictions from now on.

So for next year. Well, I can’t put in seeing Bon Jovi live, as that is actually happening… but I guess…

Thing is, we’ve got a lot of great things happening next year. I guess, my only prediction and hope is that the SBTY project will work out. That the Lordi tour will work out. That we get to FINALLY meet a certain Australian guy. I hope to see the guys in Steel Panther, Stala&SO. and Honey Hellraiser again too. That would be great.

And lastly, I wanna thank the following people for a fantastic year.
