Another week is coming to it’s end. It has been a pretty good week – with all the ups and downs that comes with it. I’m one week closer to my trip, and that is creeping me out a little, in all the right ways. Most things are underway to be finalized in the bookings, which is soothing to know.

Just a few more details and we’re on the go. So, right now, I’m focusing my energy toward packing. It’s ironic in a way – I’ll be gone for almost a month, and that is the time I want to bring as little as possible. I mean, it makes sense, the less I have to carry around the better of course, but still. My biggest issue as of right now is choosing what to wear for the concerts. So far, I have three outfit options for three different shows. I am planning to perhaps look into a few more, but then again – travel light, right?

Here are my first spontaenous ideas for outfits, all going together with black jeans or black leather pants. But the thing is, it’s a long time until the show actually happens, so I have time to change my mind and then change it again until then.

BUT, as a sidenote, I did get myself a travel sweater today. I wanted a “knitted” long sweater with high neck to use on those very very long bus travels I’ll be making. And I found the perfect one at Cubus!

I’m not sure exactly how much you can see, but I’m in love. Perfect for the trips. I am so ready.

Today is a gooood day. And I guess, on top of that, that the title fits very well, huh?

First and foremost, yesterday, I finally recieved the long awaited The Cruel Intentions album. I can barely remember exactly when I pre-ordered it, but damn I’ve been waiting for this! I’ll give it a few proper listens, although I’ve heard half of it, and then give you my opinion of it!

Another great thing, which is on a sidenote, is that I found all my missing albums. I had misplaced three albums and I couldn’t for the life of me understand where. But gladly, I found them.

My booking and first payment was confirmed today! I’m going back on the boat! And I can’t fucking wait for it!

This I seriously can’t wait for. The line up so far is good, not perfect, but I can’t wait to get back on board. They just rebuilt the ship, so now we will have a lot of additional other fun activities we can do. Seriously, I love this!

With that said, I should start getting ready to head for work. How else should I pay for all of this?

Stressful and busy days ahead, I’m trying to keep up with the blog as good as I can. The good note though, is that my tour is falling in to place, piece by piece.

These past couple of days I’ve been booking up some bus tickets from destination to destination, but today I finally bought the more fun part – the concert tickets! Or two of them.

HammerFall in Budapest, and Serenity in Vienna. This should be real good. Hopefully tonight I’ll finish booking the Vienna stay and mine and Marias vacation in Vienna is a fact!

I hate saying I’m excited and look forward to something since it sometimes feel like I’m wasting my days waiting for others, but on the same time, this is going to be so good.

Very well. Here we go again. Today has actually been relatively calm as far as touring booking goes, besides me potentially adding another date. I mean, I shouldn’t, because fuck me already with this tour, but why destroy a winning concept? And it’d save me a hotel night anyway.

We learned today that Brothers of Metal has signed with AFM Records. This makes me beyond happy! I’m glad to see more is going to be coming from them, although I was a little disappointed to see that the first release will be, basically, a re-release of “Prohpecy of Ragnarök”. But good for everyone who doesn’t have it!

I can’t really believe it’s just a little over a month left until I leave for the tour. It’s an unreal feeling that this what was just scribbled on paper, is finally happening. But I can’t wait to get back on the road, get back down on the continent, and seeing all my friends again. That is the most important part, you know?

Lookie lookie what arrivey in my mailbox today!

My Wacken ticket for next year. There is really something very very odd about being booked up a year ahead, but what the hell do I do you know?

Speaking of being booked up, certain parts of the tour are also falling into place. I booked my hotel for Paris today, finally, so that is all done. I also got the flights and tickets for Sumo Cyco in Hamburg, and AS IT IS will be next to follow together with bustickets and concert tickets for Budapest. It’s weird to see the tour finally taking shape, rather than just being put out shows in a document.

Lordi announced a show in Finland today, which is awesome as fucking hell. At the end of the year, so it seems I’ll end my year with Lord. Worse way to go, right?

And as if this day wasn’t eventful as it was, 70.000 Tons of Metal are finally sending out booking codes. I didn’t exactly need that to be released at this very moment, but I’ll just do what I always do – fucking wing it. That has worked for me these past 12 years of touring, so why exit a winning concept huh?

Wow. It feels good to be back writing. So what am I actually up to these days? Not a whole lot.

I mostly spend my days working and working away, preparing for what, as I mentioned yesterday, will be the biggest tour of my life. At this point, everything is coming together in really weird ways, like, that flight here and there is being booked, and nothing is being done as chronologically as it should be. Like, I just booked my flight to London in November, but haven’t even gotten my hotel for Paris yet, which is the START of the tour. But you know, it will all work out in the end. It always does.

That aside, I got a new album today.

“Kven” by Hulkoff, if it wasn’t self-explanatory. I’ve been hooked on this since Sabaton Open Air, so it was a natural new addition to the collection.

This is really something else isn’t it? I’ve had probably my biggest blogging hiatus since I started 11 years ago. I haven’t written a thing since May, since “Sexorcism”. How weird is that.

In the mean time, I’ve been attending four festivals – Sweden Rock, which was a pleasure as always. Biggest highligt on the fest was Vixen, hands down.

Masters of Rock – a completely new festival for me, which was.. Interesting to say the least. Never before have I experience a festival where they run out of water for the guests to drink. Nor did they allow you to bring your own waterbottle. Strange indeed. Powerwolf and Avatar holds the tie on highlight of the fest.

I returned to my dear Skogsröjet with the best of company – was really a great festival. Alestorm had the best show – are you surprised to even hear me say that?

But the highlight of the festivalsummer goes to Sabaton Open Air. Perfect line up, perfect camp, a lot of raging and treasure hunting with my dearest Szilvi. Highlight was most definitely ReinXeed. Fucking hell, who would have thought?

During my abscence, Powerwolf has managed to release a whole album, and Amaranthe and Dynazty have both released singles. Maybe or maybe not will I get around to that eventually, at least the latter two.

But for now, all I can say is – it’s good to be back. And this time I’m gonna try to stay around. This fall I have the biggest tour of my life coming up – in this writing moment it stretches as far as two months, and going through several countries. But I can’t wait for it, honestly.
