Italy Diaries, part two.

Posted in Italy 2013, Uncategorized on April 16, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Hello again!

Now we’ve landed at last and have reached out hotel, so I figured I’d just tell you we’re alive. Today has been quite a calm day, even though it’s been a bit exhausting too. You know, five/six hours in a train, two and half in a plane and then 40 minutes in a taxi, well, it is quite a bit.

Right now we’re just relaxing at the hotel and taking it easy. We’re about to make some plans for tomorrow, but we’re kinda lazy for it. I guess we’re gonna try to hit Colloseum and some other tourist attractions. Will be fun, will be fun! We even found a Pinocchio poster. What are the odds. Okay, they are actually pretty big.

But oh well. I guess it’s time for us to keep looking at the maps and make some plans, even though I even forgot my precious calendar at home. HOW WILL I LIVE.

Underneath follows some pictures I took today. PHOTOBOMB!

I think it’s time for us to hit the sack now. After blasting “Hard Rock Hallelujah” one time too many. Despite me growing tired of it.

For Your Ice Only

Posted in Uncategorized on April 13, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

As you know, as I’ve been whining about it, Season four had it’s premiere today, and just as the US premiere, “For Your Ice Only” was the first episode here too.

I love the “new” temporary themesong, even though it freaked me out at first. You know, I’m so used to “June 3” and all of a sudden there’s a “December 25” instead. The song is fine, I like it a lot. Even though I always flinch when I hear “Den långa vintern har börjat…”. And I love the way they sing it. The Swedish titlesong singers are fantastic. The only thing I miss is the small screens behind Phineas&Ferb when they’re jumping, you know? Oh well. Although, I must say, considering it’s been snowing quite a lot today where I live despite it being April, this episode had a perfect airdate, haha.

However, something was odd. I wasn’t sure, but something was a bit odd… and then… when the episode came along… I heard it. Phineas has had a change of voice actor. Darn it. I had just gotten so used to Benjamin doing his voice instead of Sam, and this was a pretty… unexpected surprise. I don’t think I’m gonna go all the way saying he’s bad, because he isn’t but it’s… different. Very. Oh well, I guess I’ll get used to it eventually! I mean, how many times now did Isabella and Vanessa change? Oh right.

But if we return to the episode… I’m normally not all that interested in ice-hockey, nor am I interested in football, but Football X-7 and Ice-Hockey Z-9… That’s what I call sports. I think the very segment for the song “Ice-Hokcey Z-9”, with the “post-apocalyptic sport of the future” is one of the best segments I’ve seen in Phineas&Ferb, and when I say that I’ve seen it all ‘cept from “Meapless in Seattle” (and currently unaired episodes)

But yes. Despite my lack of interest, I’m not gonna grow tired of this episode for a long time. The only thing that will bother me for a while will be Phineas’ voice, but already now, when watching it a second time, it feels better. So I guess I’ll learn to love it quickly. Welcome aboard, Teodor!

Oh well. Gonna look through my recordings, program tomorrows and then read some fanfics. Yes. Me likey!

We’re Not Bad For The Kids (We’re Worse)

Posted in Uncategorized on April 11, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Wow. Italy’s truly coming closer and closer, which in some ways stresses me out a lot, and I guess I’m a bit disappointed in myself for not pulling everything together better. Sure, all bookings and such have worked out fine, but on the same time, all the other plans I had have not, and I think this comes from me becoming extremely lazy lately.

I have difficulties getting up in the morning, I don’t even know why. I haven’t always been like this. I guess life is sort of catching up with me.

But if we look at brighter things…. I have almost finished all the recordings of Phineas& Ferb. Instead of being a whole page of unrecorded episodes, they are down to one not recorded, and about five to be recorded a second time, a backup time if you like. And on top of this, it’s a new Gravity Falls episode on Friday again, and to make it even better, Season 4 of Phineas&Ferb starts on Saturday. Episode 3 for some reason, but oh well. Who am I to complain!

Okay. Signing off now before I beat my laptop and it’s unholy behavior to death.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

Posted in Uncategorized on April 8, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Wow. I can’t even believe myself that Italy is happening in less than a week. I need to get started to get shit organized, or perhaps get tickets at least (‘cept for Milano, got that shit covered already).  I think I’ll sit down when I get upstairs with my little calendar and write down what to get done for tomorrow.

But before I get “shit started” I need to think about a few things. A lot. And I need to discuss it with my platypus. Look over some possibilities  and such. I guess you’ll know all about it soon enough.

I’ll try to blog as much as I can from the trip, the hotels are said to have WiFi, but if they actually have is another question. But I’ll do my best I promise.

But for now, I’m just gonna lean back with my calendar, watch the last few episodes of Phineas that I need to see, and then, go to bed. Got a lot to do this week.

The Time Travelers Pig

Posted in Uncategorized on April 6, 2013 by Sara Hammerzmith

Ah. Yesterday was the premiere for a new episode of Gravity Falls, because yes, we’re a bit late here in Sweden. As I suspected it’d be, it was “Time Travelers Pig”, an episode I’ve wanted to see for some time. Why?

Because 1. WADDLES. Mabel’s pet pig. It’s the cutest ever, and her love toward it is even cuter. Mabel is freaking fantastic.

and 2, future Mystery Shack. I mean, it must be DIPPER opening the door, right? They were traveling to the future, not past. Gah. My head is spinning with all these time-paradoxes. At least it was VERY nice to see something else appear when it started instead of “For tonight’s final illusion…” or “Ah. Summer. A time for fun, recreation…” and so on.

However, I really liked it. And I will until DisneyChannel decides to air so often you get tired of it. And they will, trust me. This is the second time it airs today. Who would’ve known.

There’s one thing I have to bring up though about the show. I love, and adore, how Dipper and Mabel are ALWAYS there for each other, always helping each other out even if it means they’ll be less happy. Like when Dipper tried to make sure Robbie wouldn’t ask Wendy out, and she sacrificed (or risked perhaps) not getting Waddles, and how Dipper in the end gave up the dream about Wendy so Mabel could, at last, have Waddles. And after all, Waddles humiliated Robbie so I guess it’s a win win.

Anyway. I’m gonna wrap this up a little weird, because I’m just dead tired. I hope I made some sense. Remember, Stan isn’t what he seems.

Supermonstars

Well, today’s been. Not so interesting, haha. I’ve really just been messing around with the episodes as usual, but I also went to a couple of second-hand stores with my parents, and naturally like the shopaholic I am, I didn’t leave empty – handed.

Basically – “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, Disney’s, on english. Always wanted it on tape on English. Next one is “Belle’s Magical World”, in Swedish obviously, the only one I didn’t have in the “Beauty and the Beast” series. “Antz”, and another version of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” by another label. Saw some screenshots that resembles some of the scenes in the book that wasn’t in Disney’s movie, could be fun to check out.

However, despite me not being done entirely (but soon!) with the episodes, I figured I’ll start today with testing out the new The Sims games I got before I went to Paula’s.

Yeah, I know, I’m way late. I used my money on other stuff, but at last, I’m starting to catch up. Since I’m not all into Supernatural stuff, I figured I’m gonna start with that one. Plus, that ain’t a expansion I can try out with the Cullens, and if I can’t use it with them, they usually get lower rates from me, haha.

Either way, I just had it installed and created my first sim, Katie Bell (named after a Harry Potter character, as a change) and I made her a witch (Guess you didn’t see that one coming?) and I’ve moved into a small house in Moonlight Falls. I’ll be trying it out for a few days before I let you know what I thought.

Anyway, I’ll get back to the The Sims and talking to Michelle. We got some last minute Italy things to decide upon, so I’ll just see you later.
