So tell me what you wanna do today

Posted in Uncategorized on August 29, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

Alright alright! I had this song, “Summer Belongs To You” stuck in my brain for like, all evening. Besides school I haven’t done much more than watching Phineas&Ferb on my TV in my re-newed TV spot in my room and packing. Yes, packing. You see, tomorrow, I’m heading off to Stockholm together with Sofia to see Lady Gaga. I can’t wait!

But more importantly, the Megara mugs I ordered off Tradera arrived today! I’m so pleased with them, it just got more exciting to travel once I got these beauties!

Oh well. I should really return to my noodles and some Phineas&Ferb and maybe some crisps and dip. I need to finish this before take off tomorrow.

I can show you the world, shiny, shimmering, splendid…

Posted in Uncategorized on August 28, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

So, as I had my princess party, I looked up popversions of the princesses songs, or mainly “A Dream Is A Wish..” and “Once Upon a Dream” as I found the original songs not fit into the playlists, mainly due to quality perspectives. I came across some DisneyChannel stuff that was fine enough, but that’s another story. We had one more princess present, the lovely Jasmine. As her movie is from the “Disney Renaissance”, I didn’t look for a popversion immediatley as her song (the album version) was well useable. This, I was to regret.

During a “rage moment” with my platypus last night, discussing DisneyChannel versions, mainly being out of our minds over “Part Of Your World” and “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” and being fine with some other, I figured I’d check if DisneyChannel made a cover of “A Whole New World”, and what it would sound like. So I went onto youtube, and simply searched for “A Whole New World Pop” and came across the official popversion with Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle.

I’ll tell you something. I can honestly, completly HONESTLY say, I’ve never been so speechless, as I continuely get when I hear this version. I thought I had gotten chills listening to music, but this song gave “chills” a whole new meaning. My heart skips beats, my eyes gets teary. I always liked the melody of this song, I always liked it, as a result of Aladdin being in my top five of Disney movies, but this… taking this song, and pouring some of that “glitter” as I call it onto it, with some really good singers… You know, right before when Regina is about to start sing Jasmine’s verse and the drumbeat comes… it just LITERALLY blows up my heart. It’s just perfect, in every single way. It brought up Aladdin one spot on my favorite movies.

Say what you want about Disney as a company and all, but you can’t not give them credit for some really extraordinary tunes. And since it’s Aladdins 20 years anniversary I just really wanna do something for it now. I gotta discuss this with my platypus.

Once Upon a Dream

Posted in Uncategorized on August 27, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

So, I promised I’d blog about everything and nothing, but I haven’t I’m sorry. So I’ll sum up some of my time here.

So yes, Skogsröjet was cool, except from the traindelayal. And because of that, I missed out on H.E.A.T. Oh well, what can one do? Apart from that it was great. Great meeting all the friends and all. I miss them already!

And next on my agenda is when I had my girls here and my birthdayparty. The theme for my b-day party was Enchanted Rose, as “The rose would bloom until his 21 birthday” (Beauty and the Beast). And hence the BatB theme, I had alot of princesses, or mainly, Aurora, Cinderella and Belle, with cameo from Jasmin and Rapunzel (Aurora, Cindy and Punzie all have ‘Dream’-theme in common as in ‘Once upon a Dream’, ‘A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes’, ‘I’ve got a Dream’), and it was also dressed in some sort of Topsy Turvy / childrens party style.

We had the three princesses mentioned above featured on the big wall together with some metal posters and white tablecloth with Princessthemed plates…

Of course, I didn’t forget about Phineas&Ferb….

And when you got there, you were welcomed by…

These are just some of the decorations, I’m a bit too lazy to put up all the pics of it.

Here follows some pics of the party itself

So yeah… I guess this somewhat summerizes it all! Now I’m gonna keep planning a bit with Michelle before heading to bed!

The Sims 3 Showtime.

Posted in The Sims, Uncategorized on August 19, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

I’ve hyped this game since whenever I heard about it for the first time. And finally, I got it in my possession. And as the Katy Perry fan I am, of course the limited edition. I got it from my grandma actually. Thank you!

You know, I haven’t started it just yet. But you know. It’s Showtime, entertainment stuff. I love such. It’s Katy Perry, need I say more? And it also features something I’ve wanted ever since The Sims Online existed. A feature, where you apparently can talk to your friends through the game! How awesome isn’t this?

But Ok, I got my platypus on skype, and about to board this ship. I’ll tell you later what I thought!

Fabulous

Posted in Uncategorized on August 18, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

This is my fave song from one of my fave episodes of Phineas & Ferb. He’s also my favecharacter in that particular episode. And I must say, I love the fact that he’s the bassplayer in Love Händel, and that he’s fabulous. I mean, what other fabulous bassplayer do we have? Haha.

While we’re on it, maybe we should just keep it to Phineas&Ferb at the moment. It’s not like I have anything better to blog about. I was thinking about this with favourite episodes, and I must say it’s so hard to pick ONE. My first though was “Finding Mary McGuffin” or “Vanessassary Roughness” since they are heavily themed on Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, and her being my favecharacter I guess you can do the math. But then we have the Musical Cliptastic Countdown, which was the very episode I fell in love with Vanessa, where I heard “Busted” for the very first time. Sadly I managed to delete the thing from my recorder, and I’ve never been sader.

But, the thing is, when I’m about to put just another Phineas episode to pass time, it’s usually “Dude, we’re getting the band back together!” or “Lawn Gnome Beach Party Of Terror” that I put on, or if I have more time and patience, “Summer Belongs To You” (Because it’s split, and they are not even next to each other on the recorder and you have to go through millions of episodes to find the other part). “Summer…” is in the one of the three I enjoy the most to watch, because of you know, all the characters getting together and all. But “Backyard Beach”… What can I say. I love the song, and I love all things tropical. And “Dude..”… I mean. They are re-uniting an old band. With a fabulous bassplayer. Yep, to good to be true. I also got this weird thing for “Ain’t Got Rythm” even if I didn’t fancy it much to begin with.

But as a matter of fact, my all favourite is, “Phineas & Ferb: Across The 2nd Dimension”. SPOILER ALERT.

(This one was to be used on another entry, but oh well, it works here)

And why do I love the 2nd dimension so much then. Well, there are some things I’m a sucker for; 1) Epic music, 2) When characters who aren’t supposed to be together, end up together, 3) When the villain becomes the hero.

2nd Dimension happens to have all of this. To begin with, P&F crashing at Doof’s, and the three of them going into the 2nd dimension together, where, Doof is the leader. I love Doofenshmirtz, so I was pretty much like WJLASJDALJDALSJ!!! And when I saw the 2nd Dimension Doof…. OH MY GOD. Fangirl alert! He’s just… hot. Yup, I said it. And they find out Perry is an agent and then Candace bursts in, and you know, it’s just one mess! But my favepart is at the end, when 2nd Doof is just about to smash Phineas, Ferb and Perry, and 1st dimensions Doof runs up, stops 2nd dimensions Doof and gives him his locomotive, saving the creatures lives. It almost made me cry.

Then we have the music. “Everything’s better with Perry”. “Brand New Best Friend”. “Summer(Where do we Begin)”. “I Walk Away” Do I need to say more? These four songs says EVERYTHING about the music. It’s pretty much better than all of the regular Phineas episodes.

So yes, that’s why I love it so much. Or, at least, in short. I’m getting tired and I need to tidy up and then eat, and watch some Phineas. What about watching “I Scream, You Scream” maybe? Haha. Alright, good night!

I Wanna Know What Love Is

Posted in Uncategorized on August 17, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

Listening to the soundtrack of “Rock Of Ages” inspires me extremly. Currently listening to “I Wanna Know What Love Is” and the way they arranged it just makes me wanna get out to a festival, with our planned van and just blast the whole thing. Just the sound and movement of this little tune inspires me to keep on the touring, the keep on the travelling. I’ve been talking a bit to my partner in crime, Michelle about it. And we have somewhat the same view on what we wanna do next summer.

Like I said previously, watching “Phineas&Ferb” kind of makes me wonder what the hell I’m doing with my life. And why I keep waste the summers away. So that’s why I’ll try to raise as much money as I can so we can just pretty much travel THE SHIT out of summer next year. Not only about concerts and festivals, but we also have some other small trips planned that I rather keep a secret right now.

It has also inspired me a lot for the upcoming trips we have. I had this point when I felt that I just wanted to withdraw the whole thing, but you know, I don’t withdraw, so I would go through with it. But nowadays I just feel like I want it to be NOW. But it’s good that it’s a bit away, so I and or we, can raise money to make the best out of it instead. For those who might have missed it, we’re doing two Sabaton gigs – Oslo + Stockholm, followed by Steel Panther in Stockholm + Gothenburg and wrapping it with WASP in Karlstad and Gotthard in Oslo (possibly). Will. Be. So. Good.

And I need to try to save up to a goddamn computer. I saw the perfect one, and now I just need to save up for it. But right now, it doesn’t feel impossible. And that’s always good, right? but now I need to wrap this one up. Early work in the stables tomorrow, need to get some rest. See you later! And oh. The fist load of birthday decorations came today! So excited!

Posted in The Sims, Uncategorized on August 16, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

Yes Peeeerrryyyy!

Okay, so I’m finally getting some time around to blog, and so I shall. As you might have known, I attended Skogsröjet, however I’m not gonna write about it just yet, I’ll do it tomorrow or something like that. I’m actually gonna dedicate todays entry to The Sims, as you know, I do occasionally.

So, for my birthday I got various things from meh lovely family, more to be exact the books “I’m with the band“, “Kee Marcello: The Rockstar God forgot“, and a guide to London, I got the CD’s “Theater of Pain” with Mötley Crüe and the soundtrack of Rock Of Ages. I also got a travelcharger for my cellphone and iphone, money and, bambambam! The Sims 3 Diesel Stuff and 1000 simpoints.

And today, I finally got the chance to try it out. But the first thing I did was to use almost ALL of the simpoints mum gave me and went on a shoppingspree on The Sims 3 store ending up with this:

Feeling pretty happy. But oh well, I guess I’ll get back to you once I’ve tried these and the Diesel stuff out!

Summer Belongs To You

Posted in Uncategorized on August 6, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

You wanna know something. Watching and listening to Phineas & Ferb makes me wonder what the fuck I’m doing with my life. It feels like I’m wasting all these time on nothing. It’s a good thing that the show makes me think – because it makes me re-consider choices of life and what I do. Good thing.

And while we’re on Phineas&Ferb. I always record 05.45 airing of it, but it’s usually the “Isabella and the Sap” thingyepisode, so it never feels worth it. But yet I put it on this morning as well. And I’m glad I did, beacuse this morning they happened to air “I Scream, You Scream”. So NOW,  I posses the full episode.

This week is going to be busy. I had a meeting with the stable today, and on Wednesday I’m off to Gothenburg to see Alice Cooper, and on Thursday I’m heading to Skogsröjet festival. The disturbing part is that I have mixed feelings about it. I want to look forward to it, but I somehow can’t. It’s probably beacuse of the stress for school that happens to have it’s deadline on August 10th, and the fact I have to be away on my birthday. I’ve never been away on my birthday, and I don’t really like the idea either. The only time I’ve been “close” to it was when I was on a ridingcamp back in 2005 on Pickles, and I was only away like four hours. Sure it’ll be cool to see Cooper and all but still…. I prefer to be home. And it’s also the first riding for the semester, apart from this years ridingcamp.

Regarding school… I’m trying so hard to finish this small and simple tasks, but somehow I just can’t. It’s not even difficult. Discuss whether Harry Potter is a classic or not and if it’s right to be so critical towards Disney. 200 and 600 words each. PIECE OF CAKE. This blogentry alone is over 300 words.

But now, Phineas&Ferb began. Abrupt ending.

AND OH IT’S THE PILOT.

I Scream, You Scream

Posted in Uncategorized on August 5, 2012 by Sara Hammerzmith

You know, Vanessa is my favourite character of Phineas&Ferb. There was a few episodes I always wanted to see – “Finding Mary McGuffin”, “Vanessassary Rougness” and “I Scream, You Scream”, as they seemed to focus a lot on Vanessa. I do now, possess both Mary McGuffin and Vanessassary recorded on my TV Box, the only one missing for now would be “I Scream, You Scream”.

I was going away on a ridingcamp for the week, also hosting sleepover which unabled me to watch Phineas&Ferb, so I had my mother and brother record every single P&F episode (which is about 60 episodes!!!) to make sure I wouldn’t miss it, “I Scream, You Scream”. However, as I’ve gotten home, I haven’t watched through all of them since I figured I’d like to save them for the times when I get up too late or too early to watch an episode being aired. But as far as I’ve been watching, it’s been a lot of epic episodes, such as “Roller Coaster: The Musical”, no sign of “I Scream, You Scream”.

So today I saw down with dinner, just in time for the mid-day airing of P&F. I had been reading a lot about Ferb on Phineasandferbwikia and found a funny still from “Run away Runway” and as it started today, that very episode happened to come on! And on top of that, the fashion designer in the show happened to be called Gaston, which I, in my bad humor and also a little bit of irony, I did find it quite fun and pressed record, presumably to be able to share it with Michelle when she got home.

The episode as a whole wasn’t too impressive. It wasn’t boring, but it wasn’t extraordinary. Made me giggle though. But then….

The first thing I see is Isabella in a hospitalbed. And then I notice the name of the episode.

“I Scream, You Scream”.

I just dropped everything, gazed and was amazed. Was it right? Really? No?

“I Scream, You Scream”.

It couldn’t be, right?

But then… I recognize Doofensmirthzexwifeshouseonamountainesomewhere! And Vanessa reading. Then talking about busting her dad.

YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!

FUCK YES!!! FINALLY!!! AFTER ALL THIS TIME!!! (Like three weeks) FINALLY!

And what happens next?

My TVBox stops recording in the middle. I mean, come on? Are you serious?

Gladly, it’s just about to air right now. So I’m going to have to end this abruptly.

EDIT: This is the saddest moment ever. “Run away Runway” didn’t come on. This means, no “I Scream, You Scream”. But oh well. It’s “Vanessassary Roughness” they are airing instead. Wow, I never thought I’d be disappointed by a Vanessa episode. Daym.
